They are SO SO good. So good!

My landlord is doing *work* in the now-empty apartment downstairs. Yesterday my own apartment smelled like nail polish remover, which I guess was paint stripper or maybe primer and paint, and when I went out today there were four large industrial strength garbage bags on the porch.
Isn't that why he started playing baseball?
The 3rd Monday of every April is filled with glorious traditions in Boston: Patriots' Day commemorations, the running of the Boston Marathon, and me walking to Fenway Park past BU students who are playing outdoor beer pong at 7:30am.
And the bartender put the rest of my pint in a to-go cup when I had to leave for my train.

At a time when mass surveillance and autonomous weapons companies like Palantir are openly announcing their plans for violent world domination, it is crucial that our attempts at “big tech reform” don’t actually give them more power—ie via government mandated age verification/identity software
Sephora doesn't hold much charm for me, other than ducking into one to put on some Tom Ford "Lost Cherry" perfume because that shit is delicious and also costs FOUR HUNDRED AND FIVE AMERICAN DOLLARS FOR A 1.7OZ BOTTLE so yeah I'll put some on for free before going about my day.

No Singing In The Navy, at Playwright's Horizons Peter Jay Sharp Theater
For three hours, in this case (with two intermissions)
I really enjoyed it but there were multiple people in the audience who were not prepared for Wallace Shawn's ouvre, which is monologues. His writing is for the love of language, and you just let it wash over you.
The music was outstanding though, I'm going to look for the playlist online, it's all 70s glam rock tunes.
Update: it was not very good. John Bernthal is excellent but I have no idea what they were thinking with this adaptation. Tge staging was clever but when that's the most remarkable thing about it, you're in trouble.
I wish I'd seen Death of. Salesman instead, I love Laurie Metcalf so, so much.
Taco Mahal, in the West Village. Open til 11.
BEK, but with hot sauce this time
I should have gotten three.
Malai kabob and chicken curry roti tacos, with pappadom and chutney (and beer)
Not great! I don't think I would recommend it!
Written by Wallace Shawn and directed by André Gregory, who is 92.
What We Did Before Our Moth Days, at the Greenwich House Theater
Yup, you got it!
If you type any form of "this is disappointing" in an Instagram comment, you should have your hand cut off like a medieval peasant caught stealing bread. ("Extremely disappointing" is both hands.)
I went to high school with Ebon, although we're 4 years apart. More crucially, my mom had him in her daycare when he was really little. When he popped up on The Bear I recognized the name and asked her if she remembered him and she said: "Yes. Very intense. Why, is he a serial killer?"
Walking into the auditorium to T Rex made my day like 92% better.
