Ramping up speed and dexterity with the following
1. 5 degrees
- 1/8th singles
- 1/8th triplets TRIPLES and SINGLES
- 1/16th Note QUADRUPLES and SINGLES
- BPM 55-95

2. Rhythm Pyramid
- Transition between subdivisions
- 1/4, 1/8, triplets, 1/16th and back
- BPM 50-80
- ring and pinky hammers

Working on the domino intro, increasing speed.

Faster is not always better, especially when learning rhythm. There is a natural tendency to speed up as you practice but stay in rhythm.
It’s hard and not always fun to practice but it’s worth it….. ow on to working on Domino the Destitute

Ok so already have all 5 shapes of the A minor pentatonic scale memorized all the way down the fret. Now back to working on rhythm.
If I could you bit of advice be patient and forgiving for yourself, you are learning something new. Never give up!

Ok, first lesson with new guitar teacher went fabulous. Don’t be afraid to make a change in your life if you think you need it. Change is hard and can be scary but just keep pushing!! Excited to see this new journey with my guitar!

New teacher found and intro on Sunday. 🤞 he is a good fit, he seems like it and focuses on the why and no just the how. Excited to take my playing up a level!!

Adulting sucks but I am still looking for a new guitar teacher while practicing on my own and pushing myself. Some work and improving chord change speed. Never give up!

Ok, I haven’t posted in awhile but here is a tip. If you guitar teacher does not want to help you learn the music you want and talks shit about them when you bring in a song to ask about…get rid of them.

If Travis put one out it wouldn’t matter the color for me 😊

Ok, been working on pinch harmonics…it’s tough and is gonna take awhile but I have about a 60% success rate, now to incorporate it into songs
