Ned, I've tried to sign up a few times since you announced with my Outlook email and it's never worked. Had to use a gmail email I generally just use for spam, which did work. Just thought I'd mention in case it wasn't just an issue for me

Have been holding on to the promise of some sun today, and it delivered. Glorious walk through the snow to Simon's Seat. I cannot tell you how much I needed some sun today! 💙☀️💙

Very glad to have found you over here Ned!

Although strange knowing there'll be no ITV coverage of the Tour Grand Départ 27, very glad to have NSF live to look forward to!

Wow these are amazing! Such intricate structures. Love seeing how they've all explored working in 3D differently.

Went to see Leeds Playhouse's production of To Kill A Mockingbird this evening. Astonishingly pertinent.

It's really heartening that so many members of the public donated to save this work. Can't wait for it to be on display soon for everyone to enjoy!

Being from Cumbria, most locals have wee cars that are far more practical for the narrow roads. SUVs make it so much harder, particularly those on holiday who aren't used to the narrow roads, and don't tuck in. Older versions of Fiat Panda 4x4 are very popular in Cumbria as a smaller 4 wheel drive.

A waterfall coming down through a gorge with the sun hitting the rocks behind it. The waterfall has started to freeze, with the pond in front of it frozen solid and dramatic icy rocks that the waterfall is dropping into.

A beautiful crisp day in the Yorkshire Dales. Magical icy falls, beautiful snowy fells and a gorgeous sunset over a frozen tarn. Now to warm up in front of the fire in the pub with some good food and beer!

Happy Winter Solstice to all in the northern hemisphere.

The turn of the year's tide, a pivot-point, a day of hope—when the dark stops rising & after which the Sun begins its slow climb back.
A day I celebrate more than Christmas or New Year.

Fiat lux!

Ever wondered why walking around museums is weirdly tiring? At normal speed our legs act like pendulums, swinging forward from the hip & saving us a huge amount of energy. In "museum shuffle" our muscles must do ALL the work of constant readjustment. So cake in the cafe is scientifically justified 🥳

Had a great time at Castleford Academy this week testing out our outreach sculpture workshop inspired by Barbara Hepworth. Lots of experimentation and collaboration from the students to explore the process of 2D-3D and create sculptural work.

Some surreal projections at The Hepworth Wakefield this evening for Light Up. I'm sure David Chipperfield's intention was to design the perfect building for projection!
