Out 2/17, Lost Marvels No. 3: Savage Tales of the 1980s is full of tough-minded tales, like this short comic by James O'Barr--SuperHeroHype has an exclusive preview, see the full excerpt at https://ow.ly/5gmN50YfsaK
Amazing page. Dezuniga was my favorite Buscema inker. Uniquely bold.
If you're reading an old book, it's best to read a copy that shows its age.
I’ve watched Upgrade so many times. It’s brilliant. Need a sequel!
Comic Book Movie Oblivion takes on my graphic novel and film "From Inside." Plus, I chat with Kumar myself. How did the most depressing film ever made come to be? Give a listen: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcmW...

Here is a concert poster I made for a band named “Tea For Two.” They are not a real band, but they should be. They sound like Primus meets The Denison/Kimball Trio and, hey look, The Ear Po-Po are opening for them! #gigposter

Adobe Illustrator 1.0 software packaging (1988) and Adobe Photoshop 3.0 (1994), under glass and on display in a MUSEUM as if they are ancient relics. I owned and used these same packages. #LACMA
An LP showing Patrick Stewart as Gurney on the cover. This LP was made in 1984... but never made it to record stores. Columbia Records produced the LP as an exclusive for their Columbia House subscription service members. Unfortunately, they went to press before Sting reviewed the final design. The record label erroneously credited Sting as "The Sting" on the cover. Not "Sting" but "THE Sting." In quotes, too, no less! The albums were sitting in warehouses, moments away from shipping to stores when Sting's lawyers caught the error. All copies of the LPs were collected and destroyed. Rather than repressing the album, Columbia called it a loss and let the project die. "We must fear Sting's lawyers," they said. "Sting is the record-killer." Only a few copies of the LP survived and have been seen in the wild, and I do not have one because none of this is true.
The back cover of a fictitious LP titles "The Ballads of Gurney Halleck, Sung by Patrick Stewart" featuring Dune-related song titles such as "Victory Song," "The Flaming Dames," and "Troops Long Past."
Here is one of my most prized possessions; the ultra-rare vinyl LP "The Ballads of Gurney Halleck" as sung by Sir Patrick Stewart, featuring Sting. More info in alt #dune
A page from my short comic “Pwdre Ser: Rot From The Stars.” Originally published in Sex & Death, Issue 1 (Millennium, 1995). Reprinted, colored, and rewritten with A. A. Attanasio for the anothology “Dust” (Stompbox13, 2014). Charcoal, pencil, and ink washes on 11x17 illustration board. #comics
A page from “The Queen Has A Blue Dot,” my short comic in which humanity is compared to bees. First published in the anthology series “Ashes” (Caliber, 1990) #horrorcomics
A page from “A Slight Warm Breeze.” Illustrated by me, written by Ted McKeever. Published in the fanzine “Brain Dead,” Issue 12 (1990). Reprinted in “Dust” (Stompbox13, 2014). The diner on the right was styled after Winstead’s Drive-In Steakburger diner in Kansas City. #comics

Amazing film. A favorite since I first saw it in 85 or so. Incredible score by Mark Isham, too.
Here's a sketch I made of a Calamintha Nepeta Chelae seedpod. Great in a smoothie if you catch them before they wilt! #sketch
