You shouldn’t “over” anything, that’s why we use the word over. But we should interpret the result wisely, and I hope we do it quickly.

Time to move to the centre left in every way Labour.

The country does not want Reform UK Ltd

It doesn’t want a nasty, unfair immigration policy.

We don’t need to stop immigration or asylum. You just need to stop the boats.

Open safe routes & now appeal to the left of your party and the country.

Labour's first act as a new government should have been to implement Leveson 2.

But it was too cowardly to do so, now it is reaping the whirlwind of it's own cowardice.

Holocaust survivors call on Nigel Farage to apologise over alleged antisemitic comments Exclusive: Group’s open letter says Reform UK leader must take responsibility for behaviour as a schoolboy

Now is a chance for the right wing press to show that they oppose all anti-semitism, rather than just that shown by Jeremy Corbyn’s mates.

I’m confident they’ll take it.

2) always very funny when these people realize the extent to which their billionaire patrons could not possibly give less of a shit about them

Here Lam explicitly sets out her proposal - which is official Conservative Party policy - to deport long-standing legal permanent residents who have *ever* claimed any benefit, including the state pension or child benefit (even if the child is British), or who earn less than £39K.

Tolkien writing about the Blue Wizards, the last two members of the five Ishtari.

"Their task was to circumvent Sauron: to bring help to the few tribes of Men that had rebelled from Melkor-worship, to stir up rebellion ... and after his first fall to search out his hiding (in which they failed) and to cause [?dissension and disarray] among the dark East ... They must have had very great influence on the history of the Second Age and Third Age in weakening and disarraying the forces of East ... who would both in the Second Age and Third Age otherwise have ... outnumbered the West."

Although TP clearly loved Tolkien (though no uncritically), there are few fundamental similarities in what they're each trying to do, so I wouldn't expect that to mean you couldn't get into TP.

The witches have a v. specific vibe that not everyone will prefer. What sort of stuff *do* you like?
