St. Leon Manitoba has around~25 or so turbines. Alberta has 1722.
And here's how the 1722 wind turbines in Alberta, Canada, were doing on Sunday. pipelineonline.ca/what-did-172...
Manitoba has 2, maybe 3 grid-scale wind farms. Maybe they snuck in a few more in recent years. Alberta has 49. So you're out by an order of magnitude.
What did 1722 Alberta wind turbines have in common? 0.007 per cent output at noon on Sunday #wind #windpower #renewables pipelineonline.ca/what-did-172...

I was just minding my own business, setting up an account, posting a couple posts, and a certain hater came about and started throwing shade at me within the first 12 hours. Nice place, this. You, too, apparently, person I don't know from Adam, also throwing shade.
Who is denying the climate changes? According to the Saskatchewan Geologic Survey, the land I am on right now was covered in up to a mile or more of ice up until ~15000 years ago. What caused that ice to melt? Was it my pickup or the 2 coal power plants 6 miles from my house? Climate ALWAYS changes
It's that I DO understand, and keep pointing this out, that drives you crazy. Like when I point out when Saskatchewan had zero wind power for part of the day for seven days in a row in January, 2024 - how does one overcome that? pipelineonline.ca/for-five-day...
What do I say to them? They are putting their faith in false gods of the new church of anthropogenic climate change. It has doctrine, orthodoxy, high priests (Gore, Suzuki), and anyone who speaks against it is a heretical apostate. The God of Abraham is no more; the god of climate change prevails
No, but it is the intelligent response when the rest of the world says wind and solar are the second coming of the Messiah, faultless in all manner.
Look, I even dug up my old electrical engineering texts, complete with 30 year old tabs, just for you.
I spent enough time sitting in electrical engineering classes to understand that of which I write.
I will share this with you right now - in Alberta at this moment, wind is producing 144 MW out of 5476, and as the sun is high in the sky only 113 MW out of 1812. Great investment, both. Story, maybe
You can get that from CBC, Global, CTV, etc. No, I think I'm going to continue to do the stories they don't, and they don't understand. As I keep saying, most people don't understand megawatts, but everyone understands zero, which is what 48 wind farms in AB produced for about an hour Friday evening
Hard numbers showing the actual performance of wind is not objective, in your eyes, apparently. Showing its utter failure is bias. Wow, I so miss our interactions. Maybe, just maybe, I'm showing the other side of the story the mainstream media fails to? Consider that, ever?
The geothermal proponent in SK thinks there might be ~250 MW potential for their project. That's not a lot. Hydro capacity is all but tapped out in SK. We only have a few hundred feet of elevation change between the AB and MB borders. Hydrogen is very much blue sky. Nuclear is the only path forward
Ah, my first interaction on Bluesky. So refreshing. I think I had blocked you on Twitter, didn't I?

Alberta #wind power generation falls to less than one per cent capacity, once again. (Last Friday it fell to zero.) #Alberta #renewables
