Happy Halloween from Lego Shibden! 🎃🎃🎃

I think most buildings are made of gritstone! It’s very typical in that region. We saw a lot of rainbow flags and more queer people than usual, especially lesbians. So yes, it‘s kind of a lesbian capital. 😆

Yes, I started the series as well! We visited Hebden Bridge this summer, when we stayed at Halifax. It’s great to see the places in the series! Great show!

I didn’t post a clip. I just wanted to know if you mean a clip with Anne and Mariana.

Hm, I don’t have a clip with this music. But one with a similar tune. With Anne and Mariana. Maybe you mean this one?

Isabelle Sieb shared my Hostage set and messaged me. She likes my Lego, especially after I sent her a pair of Amy and Kirsten minifigures. ☺️ I have been working on a Vigil set lately. 😉

I really like to design and build, but it’s time consuming to make the instructions. And there hasn’t been much resonance or feedback. Seems there are not many Lister Sisters, who actually want to build anything. But Suranne has seen my Hostage set on Instagram. She never likes any of it though. 🤷‍♀️

Sneak peak! My studio design for the proposal scene at Crow Nest. I wonder if I should go on making Lego instructions. It seems that there is very few interest. 🤔#BringBackGentlemanJack #LEGO

If you haven’t seen #Hostage on #Netflix you definitely should! Abi and Vivienne highly recommend! ☺️😉

It was pretty amazing to see all these places with my own eyes and walk, where they walked. Felt a bit unreal though. 😄

Seeing the filming locations in York was really amazing. And as York was extremely full of tourists it wasn’t easy to get pictures without people on it. 😅 #BringBackGentlemanJack

No, we were lucky to be able to book two weeks in advance. I just wrote an email, when I saw that they offer guided tours in August only, and got a very kind reply! We even could chose between two dates!

Last day in York and we spent some time in the National Railway Museum. Do you remember the train on #GentlemanJack season 2? That’s it! No cows exploded. 😜😆 #BringBackGentlemanJack

Today the LegoAnn(e)s visited Sutton Park, which was taken for Ann Walker’s estate Crow Nest on „GentlemanJack“. It’s private, but we were lucky to take part in a guided tour. Best part was to stroll through the park, where Suranne did her Lister walk. #bringbackgentlemanjack #AnnLister #AnnWalker

Enjoyed an organ concert in the Minster in York. It was excellent. I wonder what Anne Lister would have thought. The organ was originally built in 1832. Anne could have listened to it, when she visited the Minster. I read she even got lessons by the Minster‘s organist.

It was, but actually I felt a bit sick, bc we hadn’t eaten much that day and had a long trip on the railway. 😆

Today was the highlight of our Anne Lister pilgrimage. We walked on Anne’s footpath and saw all the places suggested in the little booklet „Anne Lister’s York Walking Tour“ by Sarah Cowling. It’s highly recommended! #bringbackgentlemanjack #LegoShibden #AnneLister #AnneWalker
