NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.

Neat case study from Zapier that agrees with this idea. They automated lot of onboarding so new hires have less lead time before they are productive. That removes a bottleneck and has enabled them to hire for more positions. Example of “Automation company thinks about automation good” I guess
Software engineer, editorial systems for large publisher. I agree, this stuff is very cool and speeds certain types of work up a lot, but: requires a trained software engineer and time it takes to write code isn’t the biggest bottleneck I deal with.

I would bet we will see it used as a vector for new types of prompt injection attacks. If many agents are given a prompt to go there to find instructions to do X, then it’s going to be valuable to add malicious prompts to posts about how to do x.
People using Moltbot/Openclaw are giving their agents a prompt to read and respond to Moltbook on a loop.
I imagine they will claim this helps agents “learn”, but that’s a huge leap. I don’t see how generating more slop, then searching that slop is better for an agent than searching the internet
I am having so much fun watching videos in r/Pittsburgh of people skiing and snowboarding in Greenfield and Mt. Washington and shit

I’m thinking more about how we’re all millions of flawed sense-making units having millions of different lived experiences of our current, utterly chaotic situation and (for the most part, the exceptions hopefully are obvious) all trying to see each other through.
Is there a Vietnamese spot in Pittsburgh called "Danh Tanh Banh" because there should be. If you steal this just like, give me a free banh mi sometime idk
I can imagine people being very excited about her saying she’s offering the freedom to write whatever they want and an amount of money sufficient to make them forget that she is completely full of shit.
