Close enough, welcome back 1995 MTV!
The Amazing of World of Gumball's first season will always be my favorite season of the show due to its art style and animation. It was just so expressive and fun to look at! The other seasons just don't have the same magic in regard to character animation.

20-minute sketch while I grabbed coffee on my morning walk.
Oh my God, yes! It's a masterpiece of a soundtrack! I'm so glad Namco finally released the soundtrack on Spotify about a month ago.
Klonoa! :D
He can steal me!
I've seen a lot of people doing this trend, so I thought I would throw my hat into the ring (with some edits to the format).
This was really fun to make, especially when trying to avoid repeats!
So when Bluesky announces that they're starting to use AI for its infrastructure, the site/app suddenly becomes less functional and more buggy...
Quite the coincidence... ๐ค
Yes yes yes!!! It's my favorite N64 alongside Star Fox 64 and Paper Mario. I'd kill for another Sin & Punishment game!
Sin & Punishment!!!!! :D
Of course, I'd want options to keep everything like the original since I'm a purist, but I'm very open to the idea of giving the player choices with how they choose to customize their experience.
Remasters can also allow for a game like Tail Concerto to get graphical enhancements such as higher resolution textures or higher full motion video cutscenes. Even options to choose an English or Japanese voice setting.
I like remasters more than ports because they can offer changes that can be more accessible to newcomers. For example, Tail Concerto doesn't have a traditional camera system, which can be a pain to some. Remasters can open the idea to implementing such changes while ports don't have that luxury.
And yes, I wholeheartedly agree with the idea of people begging to be resold a game that they've already played. For example, I found the remake of Silent Hill 2 to be pointless because everyone considers that game to be amazing while the first game is considered to be poorly aged.
However, I do agree with the points you've made. Many remakes feel the need to modernize aspects of the original game that they remove what made those games unique. It also does feel like companies do this since they know it's just safe to rebrand a familiar product to customers.
Remasters can also make games a lot more available. I know many games that are stuck on original consoles that I'd love to play officially like Tail Concerto. I think remasters, with respect to the original game, can do wonders in this regard.
There are some games that could use a remake in order to get a chance to reach their true potential. A game that comes to my mind is Sonic 06. It has great ideas, but suffers from technical issues and rushed development.
I disagree. Some games could benefit from a remake/remaster.
I typically prefer remasters over remakes, but remakes can be done right if they treat the original games with respect.
As long as the remake isn't replacing the original, I don't see an issue.
What's wrong with such a category?

'Where are you going?'
'Away, to the hills.'
'By yourself, alone? You'll die!'
'You're closer to death than I am.'

Oh nice. Sounds good!
Ooooo, are you actually watching on a CRT TV? Also that food looks good! What did you make?
The cartoon character Hong Kong Phooey, preparing to break the wooden blocks from the Mortal Kombat "Test Your Might" bonus stages.
Here's my piece for Fan Art Friday: Hong Kong Phooey, who's clearly having his might tested right now.
This was crazy fun, so I'm going to do this again next Friday. So once again I must ask: Who should I draw? Like last time, the choice with the most likes wins.
I don't post the dinner I make too often (I should), but I'm really proud of this!
I made garlic hoison Clchicken, garlic powdered broccoli and carrots cooked in soy sauce over rice.
It turned out great!
