Cyclist already in the roundabout with right of way… driver makes eye contact and still goes.
That’s not a mistake, that’s arrogance behind the wheel.

Drivers like this are exactly how people end up getting seriously hurt on the road. The cyclists clearly signalled a turn, yet this driver still chose to overtake straight into a developing hazard. Completely avoidable if there was even a moment of patience and awareness.
Cyclists shouldn’t need cameras to stay safe, but until things change, dangerous driving will be recorded and reported. Be part of the movement.
If a truck towing a house can pass safely, what’s a car’s excuse? There’s a serious problem here.
Another ignorant driver cuts across a cyclist in a roundabout, then flips them off. This is exactly why cyclists ride with cameras.
$200 and 2 demerit points for a pass that could’ve ended lives. Penalties like this don’t reflect the seriousness of dangerous driving around cyclists.
The Month That Was March 2026
Every one of these videos were uploaded to UpRide during the month of March and highlights the same issue: preventable danger caused by poor driver decisions around cyclists. Awareness and accountability need to improve.
The sad reality is some young P-platers have grown up thinking it’s okay to abuse cyclists. Funny how quickly the attitude changes when they’re actually confronted face to face.
Respect shouldn’t depend on whether someone is in a car or on a bike. It’s time that mindset changed.
Who lost count of the close passes? 🙋♂️
My Fly12 Sport this week: 🫣
Overtaking on a blind bend is no different to driving with your eyes closed. You wouldn’t think anyone would be reckless enough… yet here we are.
Excuse me sir, the law is 1.5 metres... 📸
The first car demonstrates what 1.5 metres does NOT look like, the second does it better. Slow down, move over. It's the law.

To the driver in this clip, we hope the few seconds you saved were worth it.

A camera won't stop every dangerous driver. But it means they can't pretend it didn't happen.

The road isn't a race track. It's a shared space. Let's all act like it, because someone's always recording.

If road users think there’s a chance they’ll be recorded, there’s less chance they’ll do something dangerous. And if things do go wrong, you’ve got the evidence to show what happened.

If it made you feel unsafe, it’s worth reporting.
Reports help support stronger enforcement against unsafe driving.

Thousands of cyclists are injured on the road each year and many more have close calls that can leave them feeling unsafe and second-guessing getting back on their bike.
If something does happen, it’s often a case of “he said, she said” with no evidence of who was in the wrong.
