The .com domain seems to be in very good hands ATM. The .org shows available. You may be right that they'll pull them, but I don't think they'll show available if that happens, because either they or the govt will buy them.
Maybe he doesn't or maybe he does. As long as he blames someone else, his flock will too and he gets to do whatever he wants without losing their support. I believe he noted in his book that if you say something three times people will start to believe it. Truth is irrelevant to sociopaths.
