Kit Kat of the week: classic. Boring name, but an interesting variant! These have a swirled hard coating that has quite a dark chocolate flavor, but also a significant amount of sweet ganache-like cream inside that evokes fancy truffles.

Hey Xbox! Did you know that you can set the default location where notification popups appear on your console? Whatever your reason (I moved mine because I depend on subtitles when I play games*), here's how you can find the setting.
*yay, accessibility!

Windows: <every Outlook notification from the past day all at once>
X should directly launch, and you can disable the game hubs entirely in Settings > General > Personalization > Games & apps
Bit of trivia, Helen Mirren was in a film of A Midsummer Night’s Dream 13 years before Excalibur (with the likes of Ian Holm, Diana Rigg, David Warner, Ian Richardson, and Judi Dench). Not the most dynamic film, but wild to see such a cast so young. I recently got it on blu-ray.
Enjoyed listening to this. I assume you must have acquired the Arrow LE of Excalibur?
This went out to everyone last June. I never did write about it though.
If you've used the setting to hide system applications from this list, this is also one way to keep that one app you think is useful in there.
A screenshot of the context menu for "The Outer Worlds 2" in the recently played list at the top of the Xbox console's Home screen. The option labeled "Pin to this list" is currently highlighted.
A screenshot of the top of the Xbox console's Home screen. The first three tiles in the recently played list ("The Outer Worlds 2", "Oblivion", and "Avowed") show a pin icon. The rest ("Indiana Jones and the Great Circle", "Minecraft Legends", "Forza Horizon 5", "Keeper", and "South of Midnight") do not. "The Outer Worlds 2" is currently higlighted.
Hey Xbox, did you know that you can pin up to 3 games or apps to the recently played list at the top of Home? They'll stay up near the front, although a currently running game will always be the first tile, so the pins might start after that one.
People have memory-holed this, but Barbie Horse Adventures was only on original Xbox, so it would never have shown up in the achievement list to be hidable now.
However, Barbie Horse Trails is totally new, and in Game Pass!
Hey Insiders, we’ve gotten reports of a few games that refuse to actually hide when others look at your profile.
If you notice any, filling bugs (or @ me, that’s fine) would be super helpful in establishing a pattern. Thanks!
Boutique blu-ray brain is seeing the logo everywhere.
Xbox Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead Insiders! The "hide any game from your achievement history" feature should be enabled in the build going out later today.
In the end, I’m the one that has to consider the feedback. There’s no need for you to go on Twitter.
Neither is out to everyone yet.
The new achievements update should be available to Xbox Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead Insiders now*. Anyone played with it yet?
*except “hide any game”—still coming soon
Somehow have avoided ever having to drive in downtown Boston before today, and now I know why
Yep. Also why the only natural light is what passes through the marble!
You wouldn’t have seen a preview of this- maybe you’re thinking of the web notification? I think we’re getting the description added to that one too.
- new notification visuals (don’t worry, we didn’t change the sounds)
- highlighting completed games in your achievement history
- new achievements filters/sorts (including completion)
- hide any game from your achievement history (*coming very soon, we just missed today’s build)
Some fun (? Let us know!) achievement-related surprises are rolling out to Xbox Insiders starting today.
Read all about it here:
The exterior walls are made of thin marble and let the glow of daylight in!
There’s a staircase once you enter the vault, at least according to the signage in the back
Beinecke Library, Yale University
This might be the coolest library I’ve ever been in.

Any Insiders playing around with the new cloud gaming quality settings on console?
