No worries, works fine on my laptop, it's been permanently connected to my pc for years.
I think it happened when I used it on my laptop yesterday, the 2nd I plugged it back into my PC that's when I got denied access.
Looks like some permission was wrote to the drive making the laptop the "owner"

Literally just ran this video 19 minutes ago and fixed it with this.

For some reason I've had to add myself back as a user of my own pc even though I'm admin and it's my pc 🤣

Just to add the drive works fine when I plug it in to my Laptop!!! I can see everything.

Plug it back into my PC and tried 6 different USB ports and "access denied" happens despite being the admin

My guess is probably a lot of the time. Anything that brings you that nostalgia sells
