Posts by NOW can we abolish ICE?
Yeah! You know those ugly patterned chairs with the little plastic arms they have in doctor office waiting rooms? I like the bench versions of those.
Infowars/Onion combo logo in rainbow saying βI support the onionβs hostile media takeover.β
Itβs finally happened. After 18 months. Finally, a media merger you can root for.
Feels kinda silly to say that rich people from the center to left of things politically canβt build a successful media environment when the onion is doing it basically using donations from semi-employed forum goblins
If I was designing it I'd probably add one or two bench style seats for people who are even wider than me.
IIRC from my chair research, thin people office chairs usually have a seat width from 18-20" and that is just not wide enough. It's usually the fact that parts like arm and back supports dig in to your body that makes them unusable rather than your butt lapping over the edge of the seat.
Right! They are made for literal children, after all.
For me, having plain old folding chairs in the front like they did at SD62 is a decent solution. I can use those fine. They aren't the most comfortable but they aren't a problem. Cant speak for others though.
It says it fits people up to 500 pounds. Can't say if that's true but it fits me great whereas the regular Steelcase had parts that dug into my rear end.
These chairs are hella expensive but you can get them for a fifth of the price used.
Anyway so yes I'd say 22" would be good for me.
The Steelcase Leap Plus is what I use in my home office. All the specs are available on the Steelcase site but the seat width is 22 and 3/4" (standard seat width is 19 and 1/4")
They do have arms and they fit me great with 2-3 inches on either side to spare.
βSimply stop giving millionaires water for literally freeβ is one of the most insane sounding but actually serious policy solutions out there
Excellent!
That is wild
Editing is important! One D&D supplement I edited described a monster "creaming silently" - I think everyone involved felt I had earned my pay that day!
Gonna be normal rq. What's your favorite thing to have for breakfast?
I really like eggs and bacon but I'm too lazy to fix them usually so they are a special treat. Which is probably good.
Oh ok we just did osha 30 and we're done.
Why are there fake smokestacks?
Best part was the video with the deadpan serious voiceover telling us that harming or killing the OSHA inspector could result in prison time
When I took it we got to sit indoors at least!
Also, good luck!!!!
I tell people I'm the kind of nerd who plays with spreadsheets for fun and their reaction always tells me if they are my people π
When you use AI to do your writing, you are telling your audience: βI deserve your attention, but you do not deserve my effort.β
I truly do not understand the appeal. It's disturbing.
Wow that's extremely bizarre and gross behavior, sorry people are being so ... whatever the fuck this is
Omg, ear rub medication! That sounds amazing. My cat loves ear rubs.
So does it only work once??

also did they print off the image for you to keep? I had a lot of fun showing off my "impressive" (doctor's word) uterine fibroids :D
this gives me a good idea: i'll try to keep a running thread of things that are union-busting that you might not know are union-busting.
ERGs are one to start.
another one: employee satisfaction surveys! corporations use them to see where agitation is that could potentially lead to a union
oh no! I hope it gets sorted out. I had emergency gall bladder surgery a couple months ago. the whole thing suuuuuuucked. GO AWAY, kidney stone!!
