Every time there was a celebration at our grandparents' house in the province, I remember my grandmother placing a small plate in their garden at the back. On it were a boiled egg, rice, salt, and a bit of the viands they cooked for the feast.

Hidden amongst the groves and valleys of the Celadon forests, lies a small chapel dedicated to St. Germaine, patron saint of insects and vines. A druid, told to have communed with the saint himself, presides over its masses.
Not exactly dnd-esque but I like the idea. :)

I got the chance to create an illustration for @clanoodlessuncheese 's (IG) super heart-warming story last year! It's about a nurse who takes an ill child on a journey to a new world full of wonder, hope, and acceptance of the inevitable.
It's my favorite commissioned piece so far!
