If you're a fan of Rod Serling, The Twilight Zone or just TV in general, you are definitely going to want to read this terrific book

Very important for The Pitt viewers:
Fine, first *TV* project they worked on together (aside from that Picket Fences cameo)
Doing my final prep for this talk, which is on Thursday and will include a few highlights from last weekend's Scrubs PaleyFest LA panel—and clips from a WILD revival that I'd somehow never seen until now. If you're in NYC on Thursday, I hope you can stop by! www.paleycenter.org/events/conve...
I was a huge fan of this first season, which is packed with incredible performances from all of its leads. Not sure why it took real-life spouses David E. Kelley and Michelle Pfeiffer so many decades to make something together, but it was worth the wait.

After the talk, Morgan told me Lorne’s sons had seen the doc a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it; he thinks they were the big reason Lorne himself agreed to see it.
My fellow Paley curator Ron Simon did a great curator conversation with Morgan Neville about his Lorne Michaels doc that comes out next week. Lorne famously doesn’t read/watch any projects he participates in but was a surprise attendee at last night’s premiere—and told Morgan he liked the film.
One week from today, I'll be talking about the history of TV revivals, including a few you probably forgot about, with plenty of clips from the shows themselves, as well as several Paley events from over the years. Hope you can make it!
A phrase I’ve never heard while traveling until today: “This is a very light flight…”
And before you see his new film Disclosure Day in June, join me on Thurs 6/11 for Amazing Stories: Steven Spielberg’s TV Legacy, as I look back on Spielberg’s early years on TV, and how those movies and episodes put him on the map and launched his film career www.paleycenter.org/events/conve...
On Wed 5/20, the day before Stephen Colbert’s Late Show farewell, I’ll revisit the greatest late night talk show farewells ever, including Carson, Letterman, Conan & Larry Sanders. I'll be joined by legendary TV journalist and late night historian Bill Carter www.paleycenter.org/events/conve...
We’re set my next Conversation with a Curator talks at Paley: join me Thurs 4/16 for Back from the Dead: The Art of the TV Revival. I'll trace the fascinating history of TV revivals, from The Honeymooners to the new iterations of Scrubs and Malcolm in the Middle www.paleycenter.org/events/conve...
Looking forward to giving this talk on Thursday. It will be packed with unforgettable Academy Awards clips—including one that you aren't able to (legally) see anywhere else
I’m so sorry to hear this, Matt. This business, or what’s left of it, is just awful.
Join me for my next Conversation with a Curator talk on Thurs 3/12, as I trace the evolution of the Oscars telecast and look back at the most memorable—and most infamous—Academy Awards moments of all time (and yes, that includes Rob Lowe/Snow White) www.paleycenter.org/events/conve...

We screened most of tonight's Survivor premiere at Paley last night and it was one of the most enthusiastic audiences we've ever had. I haven't watched Survivor regularly for some time, but they've pulled me back in with this season...
And I also spoke with @tvline.bsky.social about the exhibit, which you do not want to miss if you're a Survivor fan. www.tvline.com/2109795/surv...
I did some press about Paley's incredible new Survivor exhibit. In this AP video, I talked about some of the exhibit highlights apnews.com/video/surviv...
I echo everything that has been said about James Van Der Beek—particularly how underrated his work was in Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23. RIP
I appeared on WNBC's New York Live today in NYC to talk about this year's Super Bowl Commercials — just like I used to do back in my Adweek days youtu.be/s9AY1q5J8yk?...
Tough back to back Super Bowls for guys named Drake
The 4K feed of the Super Bowl isn’t showing any local market ads - just endless NBCU promos
Some things never change…
Tomorrow afternoon I'll be flashing back to my Adweek days as I talk about the most memorable Super Bowl commercials of all time & a few wild ones you may have never seen. I hope you stop by if you're in midtown Manhattan www.paleycenter.org/events/conve...
On the heels of last week's Conversation with a Curator Paley talk about the Super Bowl Halftime Show, I'll be at it again on Thursday, talking about the most memorable Super Bowl commercials of all time (& a few fun ones you may have never seen). I'm putting my Adweek past to good use for this one
