Just $ subbed to a full year. Your writing is approachable and deep, and I can’t wait to see what this year holds. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, Anna. I wish you the best and success!
Such an angelic dream 😍🔥
As a child of a single mom who was on public assistance following the divorce and having to visit the ”free clinic“ for care growing up, I would not wish poverty on anyone. And if people who otherwise don’t have means get a few good things, great! As a rich nation, we should do more! ❤️ to ur clinic!
A view of a distant hazy valley between two mostly brown mountains on the right and left. The foreground has green spring grasses growing with some small purple flowers. A series of pine trees rise in the middle of the picture, and the sky is a smoky, hazy brown.
It’s Mountain Monday! I love the spring flowers blooming on this mountainside. Despite the seemingly endless depressing news, may your spring be blooming with some joy and goodness!
A picture of the black and white album cover of Linkin Park’s 2007 album “Minutes To Midnight”. It features the black silhouettes of the six members of the band standing at the ocean shore.
Was listening to “Hands Held High” by Linkin Park today😢. Released in 2007 as a song against the Iraq War, it’s haunting how today, nearly 20 years later, the same lyrics would apply to the USA. May we find our way to peace and justice, and may ALL people be safe from bombs and destruction 🙏🕯️💔
Good morning Rayna. Welcome to 🦋! I hope your week is going well and that the warmth of spring helps the garden you are planting grow!
😢💔🫂
While you may not need to be PASS certified yourself, please know that standard panels you may get, especially from your primary doctor, won’t screen you for some STIs. It’s important to be knowledgeable and understand how to protect your health and the health of other partner(s)❤️
A view looking to the west from the Chateau de Beynac in south central France. The muddy brown Dordogne River is visible in the left of the photo. In the foreground sits some old storage buildings associated with the historic castle. Beyond lies the green mountains and French farmland of the countryside. The sky is mostly cloudy.
The old stone alleys of the town of Sarlat in south, central France. The narrow brown stone alley is surrounded by brown stone buildings on either side. The alley has some awnings hanging for local shopkeepers and several wine barrels serve as mini tables in the alley. The barely visible sky is cloudy.
Visited the Dordogne region several years ago. After this post, I’m disappointed I didn’t stop in Bergerac too. However, loved my visit to Sarlat and the Chateau de Beynac along the Dordogne River. One day I hope to return. Kind people, great food, beautiful sights. Thanks for posting!
I recently had the good fortune of getting a virtual tarot reading from Robin. While it wasn’t meant to be sexy, her kindness still radiates. I can tell she is a kind, delightful, wise soul, and I hope to get another virtual reading from her someday. Highly recommend!
A picture from a desert overlook in California. In the foreground, scrub brush is beginning to turn green, and the brown, rocky desert ground is visible. The mountains give way to a distant valley, and beyond two snow capped mountains rise on the right and left of the picture. The sky is clear and desert blue.
It’s Mountain Monday! The calendar says April and spring, even though it doesn’t really feel like it today in Chicago. Brrr! Here’s a view of snow capped mountains in California while spring is present at lower elevations. May the aliveness of spring fill your soul and warm your days!
I’m sorry. Sending you 🫂 and comfort…
Welcome back! I‘m so happy for you and hope that the discomfort continues to fade and that pleasure, care, and ease is ahead.
There’s one incorrect word in your post. There’s nothing “new” about it…
Hope you have a the great weekend you deserve 😍🔥
This brings back memories; great post by Jonathan. I grew up in much the same way, my mom driving us across states to visit relatives. I loved looking at paper maps (still do!). Even now, I really want to drive out west and explore some national parks this summer. The open road is calling…
A picture of blooming yellow daffodil flowers in a garden outlined by paver stones. The grass outside the garden bed is starting to turn green in spring.
Feeling ridiculously feral today 🥵😈. Could it be because spring in Chicago is in the air? Or could it be my dreaming about someone destroying my throat and putting me through a mattress? No matter; hoping for eventual relief either way 😂.
Spring flowers, not a current pic👇
The shores of a glacial lake out west are illuminated in the golden light of sunset. Green pastures fill the foreground, and a solitary red horse barn sits to the right on the bank of the lake. In the distance across the lake, snow covered mountains rise. The clouds shade some mountains in a dark hue. Other puffy white clouds rise above the lake.
It’s Mountain Monday! Today’s view takes us to the shores of a glacial lake out close to the Pacific Ocean. It’s my own secret spot with a solitary horse barn for those who want to take a horse around the lake. So peaceful and quiet; seemed like nobody around for 50 miles. May you have peace today!
Love showing the condom applied 🔥!Wish more people showed that in photos and further normalized the use of them.
Because it worked so well in the Weimar Republic in the 1920s, this guy says let’s bring it back in the 2020s🤔😱
In 2018, the Lyric Opera of Chicago staged the Chicago premiere of “Fellow Travelers”. To this day is one of my all time favorite operas and the only one I seriously wept at. Such a moving story. The Showtime miniseries is good, but I think the opera is exceptional. Go see!
I agree 🥵🔥
A picture of a calm, crystal clear body of water in the foreground, part of the Pacific Ocean. In the distance, the brownish green Hawaiian island of Molokai rises from the water. The top peaks of Molokai generate a few cumulus clouds in the distance. The sky is otherwise clear and deep blue. A single palm tree frames the photo on the right.
It’s Mountain Monday once again! The chill in the air and spring snow in Chicago has me dreaming of tropical breezes in Maui. This is a view of Molokai taken from the north shore of Maui. Beautiful islands with kind souls living there. ❤️ and respect to Hawaii, nature, and the people there!
I’m trying to get one scheduled in the next month or two (not on the inner arm, though). So many beautiful people with incredible artwork, including someone from Chicago🤔❤️, have inspired me 🔥
Agree! Carcassonne is worth a day or two. The walls of the old city are especially beautiful lit up at night. it can get crowded with tourists down the old alleys, but is so cool. Visit if you can!
A picture of the album cover for the song Bad Boy by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine. Gloria is on the left, looking at the camera and wearing a frilly white nighty with a bow on her neck. The words “Miami Sound Machine” and “Bad Boy” are on the right.
I suppose the first indication this boy might be queer was when I was about 6 and I stole my older sister’s Girl Scout sash and pranced around the living room singing “Bad Boy” by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine in front of my grandma. Bad Boys do make me feel so good. Ah, memories… 🏳️🌈
Interestingly, I once took a special someone to a Chicago Blackhawks / Edmonton Oilers game. My beloved Blackhawks also lost to the Oilers😢. We had a great time anyway and glad you did too. Hockey is so exciting!
This is more steamy than the hottest Thai rainforests😍🔥🥵. Wow👀! Hope you have the best time on your well deserved trip!
The Serviceberry is such a good book and I found it inspirational. It’s a permanent add to my book case. Now I’m reading concurrently Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel and The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong. Enjoy your books!
❤️ it 💯! Not allowed to put stickers on company computer, but my personal laptop has lots of fun stuff on it too…
