I am so sorry, what a nightmare. Thank you for this essay π and all your work
and here's @doctorow.pluralistic.net clarifying like hell, as usual (seriously, you should read this)

I loved this, such a good movie
a dapper gentleman
that sounds fun actually
lol you're so nice, I didn't really do anything worthy of that though
what else... I read Dathan Auerbach's Penpal. It's interesting and beautifully made. It's similar to Triana's Gone to See the River Man in that the story isn't that unusual or out of the way (for horror) but the way it's told is extremely effective. #horrorlit
I think you're correct in having your characters feel cold, I felt cold for a long, long time. At first it's shock, so that's definitely accurate. I also felt numb and sort of underwater? Like everything was in slow motion.
I'm so glad to help!
I love monster stories πΉ. Best of luck finishing your book, I hope it goes well! π
My friends who were right under said they were so focused on getting themselves and others out that they didn't really register much else. Sorry I couldn't help. What are you working on (if you want to say)?
I wasn't right under the towers, I was about a mile away, saw it out the window. When we were evacuated it was still just a beautiful September day. Later I could smell it and that really freaked me out. I was numb that whole week. I felt cold but I think that was shock?
what's your question?
she's so cute π₯° when I read Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Time I pictured the uplifted jumping spiders so clearly as looking exactly like your wee Hana
awesome collection!
