Oh no. I have biscoff and the ingredients for chai. The call of the void beckons.

pov: you're making history. you're working with the most advanced technology in the world. outlook still doesn't fucking work.
GUESS WHAT? Go on, guess. It's Xena & Callisto again, you may remember them from other such posts of mine like, 'Xena x Callisto,' & the surprise sequel, 'More Xena x Callisto,' plus more. It's the one with Xena standing over Callisto telling her to stay down and Callisto is like, "Gladly <3" y'know, classic Callisto stuff. I added a little background of GREENERY, like the threat of a fern and a whisper of some grass, stuff like that. Plus some peachy pink sky. #myart
Added a background to this Xena/Callisto piece so I could make some nice prints and I think it turned out PEACHY
I will be one of those people if my Jetta lives long enough. It's currently a diesel, but I'm very excited to convert it when the engine goes in ten years. That and we want to get a junked Miata and stick a DC motor on it and watch it go zoom like it never has before.
I once lost power to the entire tail of the Jetta because I pulled the rear bulbs too much while trying to sort out a flicker. It just got upset and disconnected power entirely and would not give it back until I reset the OBD. Too smart for its own good.
I personally love working on cars with a well integrated computer. I can connect a laptop to my 2013 VW's and test pretty much everything on demand or make individual systems run for focused repairs. Unfortunately it means my cars are smart enough to be annoyed about stupid things but it's fun.
So carried the 80's on its back and yet no one knows it by name I swear to fuck.

Consequently, conservatives have clung to it as something that "libruls have taken from us!"
This also collides with the unpasteurized milk fad. Because ridding your milk of pathogens is an affront against god etc.
So since they couldn't keep that one going, they switched to regular whole milk.
Of course, the full fat did cause problems in the weight of kids, but this was part of a bigger picture of declining food quality and increasing obesity for American people.
So schools stopped stocking whole milk. Usually it was just 2%. This is what I drank at home and at school.
This was pinned on hormones in the milk (that didn't exist, because FDA rules regarding that have existed for a long time), but also that it was full fat so was causing problems with body weight (only for girls, naturally, this was the 90's, if you were over 90lbs you were treated like a cow)
Growing up in a red state, which is nowadays more purple than properly red, but still the culture exists, milk was a hot fucking debate.
First, whole milk was blamed for girls reaching puberty earlier than normal.
I'm actually excited about this because I've been avoiding switching for the same reason. I use a lot of older tech that requires traditional batteries and upgrading to rechargeable sets has been fraught with issues every time I tried. I'd absolutely go in on a set that *works*.
You got your SIM? Borrow a friend's phone, put your SIM in, and use it to receive the codes/instructions. We had people do this all the time in Apple support lol.
Can you find me?

I love these twirly candle pinwheels. There's one of the multi-tier ones on sale near me and I'm considering it. My grandma had one like it.

It looks like it was hit on the side- the area around the tire is all pushed in. If the motor mounts did their job and the hood wasn't completely caved in then it's very possible the engine survived. Now who's looking for an 06 Acura engine IDK but I guess it's there lol.
The interior is also probably fine with the exception of the pillars and headliner and the dash because of the airbags punching through it. And the engine block could probably be pulled. Fuel tank and rail for sure. Wiring too. ECU and whatnot. Somewhat useful things.
Usually the 1234+ pricing means "negotiable" etc. Likely he was parting it off, and it's kind of a code word in FB Marketplace. Usually to try and get people to talk to you and find out more.
Still. I'm not sure how many useful bits you can get from a car that fucked though lol.
I found this thing on sale near me once and it made my day. Like all right, I guess that really does happen to people. Sorry about your flipped sedan buddy, but this is hilarious.
Pickled ginger dipped in soy sauce is a treat.

Can confirm Harris Teeter (Kroger sub brand) had some. Target also seems to keep some on hand, though it can fall out of stock pretty quickly.
I did this, and it was quite expensive. I got a lot of it at once, but it was almost 8x more per ounce than buying a box of Cascade. But we just couldn't find powder anywhere anymore! Target has picked up more powder stock recently though so that's nice, and we found some at our military commissary.
