Since then Musk’s behaviours and statement have become even more extreme. The Royal Society is painting itself into a corner. It an FRS shows such blatant disregard for proper process and increasingly low integrity expulsion is proper.
The Trump administration has placed two top security chiefs at the U.S. Agency for International Development on leave after they resisted turning over classified material in restricted areas to Elon Musk’s staffers. America, please stand with us—we are fighting to defend this country!
At OPM, Musk’s staffers won’t leave—they work around the clock and have even installed sofa beds in the office. Our access to data systems has been restricted, raising serious concerns about cybersecurity and a complete lack of oversight. We are keeping our heads down and documenting everything.

Nonsense. I visited Calais this time last year to speak to migrants. None had heard of the Rwanda scheme. The idea that migrants, barely surviving in tents, in mud, in the freezing cold, with little food, were "waiting for a Labour government" before crossing the Channel is for the birds.
I saw my first, a dozen, feeding on Rowan berries in the garden opposite our Southampton home in January 1969. I was at home for the morning and had to bus across the then town to school for mock A levels. I was stunned by what I saw. Such exotic confiding birds. News travelled slowly in those days.
