The World Cup is almost here, and we need to get ready.
My bill will create entertainment zones that drive economic activity and give New Yorkers vibrant places to celebrate.
We need to pass the HOST Act and put our small businesses in the starting lineup.
Nearly one year later, the pain of the 2025 Hudson River helicopter crash still weighs on us. No one should question aircraft safety above our city. I thank @nadler.house.gov and the Escobar CamprubĆ family for advancing the Helicopter Safety & Parity Act to prevent future tragedies.
The new LGBTQ Museum at @nyhistory.bsky.social is looking amazing!
Proud to have helped secure $12.5M in state funding so far. This space will honor our history: from Indigenous identities and the Stonewall Riots to marriage equality and todayās fight to protect trans communities.

I joined @jfrejnyc.bsky.social at their Seder in the Streets. We celebrated the teachings of Passover and demanded we live up to them. We must pass New York For All & MELT to unmask ICE protect our immigrant neighbors from the injustices being perpetrated by Trump and his police state.
Easter might be over, but my sugar rush from the @hk4546ba is not! Thank you to BA leaders David Stuart and Sheila OāConnor, and all of the amazing community members who brought so much joy to Hellās Kitchen kids on Saturday!
Happy Easter to all who celebrate! Wishing you a day filled with joy, reflection, and time with loved ones. May this season of renewal bring hope, peace, and new beginnings to communities across New York.
"It's literally a pit!" ā Leslie Knope
The Penn Station area feels like a pitāstalled, outdated, and stuck in limbo.
But we have an opportunity to dig out of New Yorkās housing shortage:
Update the GPP to build nearly 5,000 homes, a 24/7 neighborhood, and a world-class park.

I joined Ali Forney Center and other legislative champions for a Sleepover Party in the Capitol. We are fighting for $22.1M to fund essential services for LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness in NYC. With unprecedented attacks, this funding is needed now more than ever!
Chag Pesach Sameach! May you enjoy time with your friends and family, reflection, and relaxation during this special holiday.
šØ I am calling to landmark the Mobil gas station at 53rd & 10th.
Its bright lights, steady traffic, and expensive gas are essential to our neighborhood character.
Could it be housing? Even affordable housing? Sure.
But we simply canāt risk that kind of progress.
This is about PUBLIC SAFETY.
It is the responsibility of the Governor and Legislature to protect all New Yorkersāincluding our immigrant neighbors.
We cannot leave this session without passing NY4ALL, MELT, and RADAR.
Trans New Yorkers wonāt be erased. This Trans Day of Visibility, Iām calling on Albany to pass the Freedom to Read Act (A9537/S8630) and SHIELD Rx. (A6927), real protectionsānot just posts.
Be loud, be proud, and letās get it done.
The Supreme Courtās decision to equate speech with medical care is not just wrong, it will cause harm to children.
Thank you Justice Jackson for your lone dissent: linked in bio
When transparency is absent, corruption often fills the void. (And cāmon, we know whoās running this show)
The Feds must stop hiding the details from the public.
Release the RFP now!

increase public safety
ā
create a grand new park
ā so much more
Letās get this done!
See you tomorrow at the egg hunt!!
Welcomed Women Empowerment NYC to Midtown with Catalina Cruz to celebrate the Latina entrepreneurs powering our economy. This room of businesswomen understands why the MELT Act mattersāprotecting everyone from service workers to business owners who keep our city thriving.
New Yorkers are paying more for a broken fossil fuel system while utilities profit. The Climate Law is how we lower costs, cut volatility, and put families first. We wonāt go backwards! Iāll defend it and weāll build a cheaper, cleaner energy future.
I helped lead this testimony because Gateway is too important to stall. While some funding has been restored, itās not enough. We need full, consistent funding to protect union jobs, keep construction moving, and avoid devastating delays for riders and our economy.
Trump tramples our rights as he makes it easier for our enemies to attack.
Dems are ready to fund TSA and the rest of DHS as long as reasonable restrictions are placed on ICE. Instead, Trump sends his untrained secret police into airports, further jeopardizing national security.
With nycmayor and speakermenin on board, outdoor dining is back in NYC this summer! We fought for year round outdoor dining and it is almost here!
