I was gone and can never come back from this.

guys I think people like the concrete on Demonbreun, maybe we should do more
Decided to ride to Old Hickory on my day off. I was promptly punish passed in a blind curve, so I don’t think CM Eslick’s plea to drivers has worked.
None, which is not enough, but the rear patio works fine as a rack.
Yeah they need all 12353456 spaces in the lot for cars sigh
Could be GOAT but still way too much free on street parking and traffic going through.
I paid $25 in Germantown last year for 2 hours, which stinks, but the rest of the year I pay $0.
@freddieoconnell.bsky.social @nashvilledot.bsky.social We had an ok though hard to find bike detour SB/NB through Nissan Stadium until this week. Now it's all blocked. My wife would prefer I get home alive. Please review. The other options are the Woodland bridge, and literally "Interstate Drive".
Dickerson and Spring is a crime. Highway speeds, 'bike route' signage, constant traffic. I live there and still haven't ridden the route toward Main St, in 12 years because no one would or should. The lane improvements at N 1st and Spring need to be continued eastbound. @nashvilledot.bsky.social
#Nashvillebikeweather 4/14/26: Baby powder season has arrived. Also, I arrived 20 minutes faster than anyone driving near music row because intersections all choked with cars. Cyclists can cautiously and easily get through.
All those I just rode through downtown, where cars couldn't move at allbut I could?
Church St big rig parking, I mean bike lane, this morning. @nashvilledot.bsky.social I appreciate the flex post repair job on the other side of the street recently but what sense does it make for the other side of the same street to have no delineators whatsoever?
One problem with the American perspective of "cyclists" is that they have very little exposure to what one looks like when infrastructure is built for everyone, not just men who are comfortable being uncomfortable.
Fencing covered with dark green screens covering both sides of a pedestrian bridge
The same fencing having fallen over onto the bridge, blocking the entire sidewalk on one side
How it started / how it's going
Really very much hate when we do this to our bridge.
Every day with this nonsense, @nashvilledot.bsky.social . Please obstruct the side of this lane better from motor vehicles. (Weirdly for Nashville infrastructure, I'd say the issue is the bike lane is wider than necessary, so drivers feel entitled to use it.)
Viral photo from some years back of a man nonchalantly mowing his yard with a tornado on the horizon .
How it feels doing literally any task right now.
#Nashvillebikeweather 4/8/26: Wanted to wear my only nice suit for a work thing, and it was cool enough outside at 7 am, and I was cool enough to ride to work in it. 5 stars.
Yes, drivers are that terrible, generally.
Sorry you failed the interview
Making people (and cyclists are all..um...people, dare I say) afraid to move in public spaces is terrorism, among other things.
Four people died over Easter weekend on our roads, all under 31 years old. Two more people were killed crossing Lafayette, after someone was seriously injured a week prior. Pedestrian fatalities are up significantly year-to-date. We need more resources and urgency for Vision Zero, not less
Dang man. No one stops anymore. I've been taking the bus a lot because ive been lucky for a decade but..
They can hit 15 American mph-are you and family ok?
“Flex posts are butt ugly” meanwhile cyber trucks are free to roam our streets. A famine of beauty!
These damn e-bikes man smh
I don’t expect everyone to suddenly take the bus or buy an ebike or have the $$ to ride share. That is not my way. I am simply saying that the solutions are there for you if you would only wear sensible footwear.
wake up babe, they're preserving the charm and character of asphalt now
#Nashvillebikeweather 3/30/26: very good. N side of Nissan is closed off so idk what's up with bike detours. Assume issue has been ignored. I underestimated the importance of frequent bus service personally for too long, but Dickerson gives me 3 line options, when I forget my laptop like a dufus.
#Nashvillebikeweather 3/26/26: Would be perfect, but if you are going west that March wind will slap you back home. The Dunkin breakfast sandwiches punch above their weight. Better at 6:45 am than 7:15 as far as cars downtown, but they are waking up quickly.
A protected bike claim filled with people on bike bikes
If you’re in your car in traffic and you see people moving smoothly on bikes in a protected bike-lane, or a full bus zooming past you in a bus-only lane, sure you could be mad at them for moving faster than you, or you could be someone who understands geometry and knows it works better for EVERYONE.
