Very sad yet completely unsurprising to see data censorship of a study showing the positive benefits of the COVID vaccines in preventing hospitalizations. This is anti-science in action and also harmful to public health. I expect better from the NIH/ acting CDC director but alas.

Florida is proposing the introduction of new eligibility rules for ADAP which subsidizes HIV treatment. Under the new rules up to 16000 people living with HIV in the state could lose access to life saving medication.
Without ADAP meds cost 3000$-6000$ US/month.

Reports said the trial was halted. HHS says it will proceed. The revised protocol remains unethical. Scrutiny must continue until participants are no longer placed in harm’s way. I read the revised protocol and wrote a follow-up.

Summary of what happened at Temu ACIP this morning:
As expected, they overturned the 30+ year recommendation for the birth dose of HepB vaccine, which has reduced the incidence of pediatric HepB by 99%.
They provided no credible evidence to support this decision.
