For what it’s worth, the disaster scenes that were shown were really good. The death scenes were a lot more disturbing than I thought, though for a “world changing natural disaster” it seemed kinda secluded

Just finished it. Very good but I do wish it was a little longer

What were your thoughts on it so far? I think the storyline is pretty decent

Just starting this series tonight. The cold open and the intro sequence already had me hooked!

I’ve been working on a new space weather forecasting concept in trying to tell forecasts in as simple as possible formats. I thought about the local on the 8s path and then got kinda encapsulated into the editing style. Whoops here’s a Space on the 8s test run.

The wall cloud of a tornado-warned thunderstorm hangs ominously over southeastern Oklahoma's Ouachita Mountains. The clouds are mostly gray, but have hues of blue where clouds are not as dense. The mountains below are covered in dense green trees, but those in the foreground are bathed in golden light of the setting Sun.

6 years ago today, I saw my only December tornadoes in Central IL. I followed the same tornadic supercell along the Illinois River for 60 miles as it produced tornado after tornado.

There’s nothing quite like supercells in the High Plains

Making progress on my script on a short doc on the Wx channel, nearly done and can say, I’m enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would.
