CEO @skyeperryman.bsky.social: These emails — uncovered after months of work by our team — underscore the lawless way Elon Musk was allowed to run around Washington, wreaking havoc and abusing government resources, while American taxpayers are footing the bill.
That is some ceasefire
How do you start with "A whole civilization will die tonight" and end with "God Bless the Great People of Iran" ?
Here are the stories of some of the human beings who died horrific deaths from preventable disease because Trump and Musk and their flunkies decided to murder them by gleefully destroying USAID and the entire global aid system:
Could there be anything worse for Christian witness than Trump and his team?
(Not to mention the abuse of the English language)
“Imagine an Iranian regime who, instead of spending billions of dollars supporting terrorist groups and building up all of these weapons, had invested that money into Iran, for the people of Iran”

MAGA's model
Great piece by @jamellebouie.net on the stakes in the Supreme Court hearing arguments on Trump's effort to overturn birthright citizenship by executive order. Bouie calls out conservative legal scholars who changed their views to be more in alignment with Trump www.nytimes.com/2026/04/01/o...
these are exactly the stakes! embracing trump’s view would be embracing the cramped vision of freedom and belonging that we fought a civil war to banish to the ash heap of history
I want to see a reporter ask Hegseth and/or Leavitt what role their Christian nationalism leaves for non-Christians in the military and the administration - or the country for that matter
Check out @sarahposner.bsky.social talking about Hegseth's extremist Christian nationalism and how it plays into the bloodlust that is evident whenever he speaks newrepublic.com/article/2083...
A golden calf for the MAGA true believers
Yet never has so much been seen, so precisely, by so many people who understand so little of what they are seeing. A system can tell you where a man is. It cannot tell you what his death will mean for a nation. Such systems are trained on behavior, not on meaning — they can track what an adversary does but not what he fears, honors, remembers or would die for.
I genuinely think the president and many of his advisers, scammers, hustlers, and keyboard gangsters, don’t understand this concept at all and you can see it in the pattern of their mistakes from Minneapolis to Tehran www.nytimes.com/2026/03/29/o...
"Today, that high-income 10 percent is responsible for 49 percent of all consumer spending, while the share of consumer spending done by the bottom 80 percent has sunk to just 37 percent. "

They started a war of choice for absolutely no reason, with no real strategy and no real preparation, and the end result will be a global situation that is, in every single way, worse than what it was when they started.
New from me: The first post of a series documenting the brazen lies DHS has told after abuse and violence by ICE and Bordrer Patrol officers.
First up: The bumbling, illegal raid on ChongLy Scott Thao and his family.
“Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object,” a young representative named Abraham Lincoln wrote in 1848. This was “understood to be the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us.” This quote, incidentally, is immortalized on the House’s website, if any members of Congress are looking for it.
In fairness it’s not like the consequences of having a mad king unilaterally take the country to war on a whim were so incredibly obvious that you could see it coming from the 18th and 19th centuries www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
While the President sends more American troops to the Middle East, the price of everything - groceries, gas, mortgages - keeps rising.
Let’s be clear: we are worse off today, and no safer, than before this unnecessary war began.
“.. With tariffs pushing Canadian aluminum elsewhere last year, American companies became *increasingly reliant* on imports from the Middle East ..
“.. Those sources are now imperiled by the Iran war ..” 🤡

Hahahaha re "new golden era" - war at home and abroad, rising prices, skyrocketing debt, freedom-crushing authoritarianism tightening its grip. It may be the golden era for Trump's family and the other grifters making a mint from the regime's epic corruption, but not for the rest of us.
The supremely corrupt Trump funnels taxpayer dollars to his friends and family. This is just the latest. apnews.com/article/trum...
Looks like it was a narco trafficking compound in exactly the same way Alex Pretti was a domestic terrorist.
“Here is what Trump expected when he started bombing Iran: its regime would collapse or surrender within 72 hours.
“That was Plan A.
“Plan B did not exist, which means Trump is scrambling to get back to what existed before Plan A.”

Former MN Gov and WWE wrestler Jesse Ventura says Vince and Linda McMahon inducted Trump into the WWE Hall of Fame as a quid pro quo for Trump having DOJ kill federal sex charges against Vince.
Democrats have been clear all along. We want to immediately fund TSA, FEMA, Coast Guard, CISA & core DHS functions while negotiations continue to rein in ICE & CBP.
Senate Republicans have blocked us ELEVEN times.
JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR, dissenting from the denial of certiorari. Petitioner Priscilla Villarreal is a reporter who was arrested for doing something journalists do every day: posing questions to a public official. Specifically, Villarreal twice texted with a police officer to corroborate information Villarreal already knew about events that had occurred within her community. That officer voluntarily provided the information Villarreal sought, and Villarreal published those facts, consistent with her role as a journalist. Six months later, Villarreal was arrested for asking those questions. Making matters worse, Villarreal alleges that the arrest followed a months-long effort by a police department and district attorney’s office to retaliate against her because they disliked much of her reporting on their activities. Of course, that reporting was often critical of them. It should be obvious that this arrest violated the First Amendment. Yet the Fifth Circuit held that the officials were entitled to qualified immunity, and now Villarreal is left without a remedy. The Court today makes a grave error by declining to hear this case.
The Supreme Court refuses to review an odious 5th Circuit decision granting qualified immunity to Texas officials who arrested a citizens-journalist in retaliation against her posing questions to public officials. Sotomayor has an appropriately furious dissent: www.supremecourt.gov/orders/court...
WTAF? Where does THIS billion come from? Why kill wind projects just when the impact of our dependence on fossil fuels is devastatingly clear?
