Sometimes I think UB sets could have a better reception if they were released once per year (like commander decks used to be).
Now everything gets pushed to its absolute limit (to maximize short term profit) and it's exhausting.
There's no time to breathe, to enjoy the new cards.

Related points: Magic cards should NEVER be treated as an investment. If you're ok with spending a certain amount for a card, then do it. But don't just expect that you can cash out for the same or a larger amount whenever you want.

At least it should be in the Game Changers list. An early Sol Ring ALWAYS put a player too far ahead (in all the years playing commander it always has been the case).

Thankfully I got the expensive stuff a long time ago (while it still was cheap). Mainly I use basics for lands (and fixing with Urborg + Yavimaya)
I've been using Glissa as commander almost since release (till this day). Love artifact sinergies + graveyard recursion π€π
