I think I ended up around 18 hours in so far last night, I have a pretty nasty memory leak or save corruption bug on Xbox if I leave it paused and the controller times out it can cause stuttering and prevent saving so it’s slowing me down, but I do enjoy everything the game has presented otherwise.

It’s pretty crazy how much DNA carries over into the new one, aside from things like the combat changes and some other mechanics it is very much Greedfall, almost like they just opened the hood on the original and swapped out some engine parts. I am optimistic so far!

My favorite “open world mercenary survival sim” is Wartales it is far from perfect but if I want to fish, cut wood, mine, and fight bandits I already have almost 200 hours there for what its worth.

I don’t know after watching quite a bit on it that it’s too good to be true, I think it is unapologetic in being exactly what they said it would be, but I’m really baffled in all these big cinematics and trailers to deliver a storyline that is forgettable 3 hours in.

Officially started #Greedfall The Dying World yesterday. Immediately clicked with menus, music, some familiar names and faces in the prologue.
Their “strategic” combat switch will take time, may have to tweak some damage sliders for it to click.
I am excited to hear too we have a De Vespe companion this time around because despite being a brief expansion in the original I felt their family could’ve been a much bigger antagonist element.
I got really wrapped up in the De Sardet and Constantine drama in the first felt like they had a brotherly dynamic for being cousins. I wished the ending with Constantine had taken form a bit earlier because it had more potential. Glad to hear the new one did up the writing more.
Yeah I thought they said he played some smaller more comedic character too, but now I will be looking for this even more lol
