The other catch is the German games industry is almost completely dead in the water. You're only better off leaving if you have another job lined up, and if there are no jobs anywhere.... well.

In Germany if you voluntarily leave your job you aren't eligible for unemployment benefits etc. The company has a responsibility to, and should be making people redundant if they cannot pay them.

The cameras in your mobile phone originated from NASA research. LEDs that are in everything did too. Wireless headphones? NASA. Freeze dried foods? NASA. Smoke detectors, baby formula, the mouse plugged into your computer? NASA. CAT scanners and other medical imaging tech.... NASA.
