That’s a great custom; the chest pads are perfect for Flash. Seems like a lot of potential using the 82-84 swivel heads on those bodies.

A look back at the 1984 Blowtorch:

Another classic who's high on my list of favorite figures.

In one of the comics, Gung Ho, Tripwire, and Torpedo ride on back to reload the rockets. But there are no footpegs on the toy. (Plus they'd be vaporized by the rockets launching. And Stinger missiles can't knock out tanks. Except maybe HISSs with glass cockpits. Growing up ruins everything.)
A green 1983 Wolverine missile vehicle driven by a ReAction+ Cover Girl figure, with ReAction+ Flash and Snake Eyes riding on it and the machine gun and flamethrower PAC/RATs driving alongside.
GI Joe picture of the day: Cover Girl (2024), Flash and Snake Eyes (both 2025), and the Wolverine and PAC/RATs (1983).
I realized I almost never photograph the Wolverine, maybe because I'm not sure what to do with it. You put one figure in the cockpit, then you're sort of done.
The missile base is hard because the tabs where the rack clips on are so fragile. But the glass adds a lot to the appearance, get it if you can!
It was a Black Major figure, part of a set with Low Light and Beachhead. Went up for preorder in 2024, shipped in ‘25
BATs are robots. Robots are dumb. Mutt's about to blow it's head off.
European Exclusive Mutt.

This orange haired oddity is a fun alternate look for the classic Mutt character.

Scarlett, in a winter coat and goggles, looks on at a line of Cobra prisoners: Destro and Cobra Commander, both in winter coats, and two Techno-Vipers in winter camouflage. Snake Eyes, also wearing a winter coat, is pushing the prisoners forward, while Shockwave in arctic camo stands behind Lady Jaye.
GI Joe picture of the day: Out of the cold and into the GI Joe jail!
All of these figures were released in 2025.
Lots of memories here. Yours are in good shape.
12" Joe Colton.
A couple of 12" Dukes.
Continuing to sort my toys. For #VintageToyTuesday I dug out my GI Joe 12" Joe Colton. Also dug out the green camo Duke. Just throwing in the desert one. #gijoe #vintagetoys
Dr Mindbender wishes farewell to a Star-Viper as he boards his Stellar Stiletto, standing up on its tail in a hangar, while 4 Techno-Vipers work on it and refuel it.
GI Joe picture of the day: Ready for liftoff on #TechnoViperTuesday!
Three GI Joe figures (Dojo and 2 HEAT-Vipers) are sitting and laying on top of a heap of Playmobil furniture and diorama items in a COMPLEX building structure with two walls and a floor.
My kids found the aftermath of a GI Joe photoshoot and had some fun.
A white Storm Shadow figure creeps out of the shadows holding a wakizashi short sword.

i went 471 days posting a joeaday on my toy account but i blew it yesterday and posted late. hell, I’m in europe and the time difference was gonna fuck me eventually. anyway, here’s Flak-Viper v1 1992 6/10
Found this today in bag of Star Wars toys I’ve had since the early 2000s. Darth Snake Eyes? I wonder what the kid’s storyline was.
I've never liked Cobra La or the GI Joe movie. But the ReAction+ figures are fun to use.
A pink Pythona steps out of a green BUGG while a Cobra Commander half transformed into a lizard stands in the background.
GI Joe picture of the day: A few days ago, @breakersensation.bsky.social commented that the BUGG, like Pythona, might have been intended as a 1988 continuation of Cobra La. So I thought I'd put them together.
Also featuring Secto-Viper (1988) and Once-a-Man Cobra Commander (2025).
I will always associate this CC with the 3-issue "Wanted: Destro" arc. The helmet was different in the comic though.
I also remember walking into Toys R Us and finding out about this 2nd wave of 1991 figures from the cardbacks. it was so exciting to see a new CC, BAT, Tracker, Mercer...
A look back at the 1991 Cobra Commander:

The colors and design on this guy are way better than most collectors remember.

Donald Trump with his sister, Marianne Trump Barry, whom he once mused about appointing to SCOTUS
if only she were still with us
If Alito orchestrated the Dobbs leak, which he may have, then he’s also media savvy enough to orchestrate this leak as a head-fake of some sort, perhaps to keep SCOTUS out of the midterms (retiring in the lame-duck).

GI Joe figures on a white and blue boat (the Shark) point guns at Serpentor, who is standing with his hands up on a yellow and maroon speedboat.
GI Joe picture of the day: "Sir, please step out of the speedboat with your hands up."
Featuring the Shark 9000 (1993), Piranha (1990), Cutter, Keel-Haul, Gung-Ho, and Deep Six (all 1993), and DIC Serpentor (ReAction+ 2025).
A look back at the 1985 Flint:

Still my favorite figure.

yeah it's got so many features! After I took the pic I regretted not hooking it up to other vehicles in towing position.
to me the SEAL is an honorary 1987 because he mirrors the outfits that Torpedo and Wet-Suit wore in the Yearbook when they landed on Cobra Island, and that came out in about 1987.
A ReAction+ Jinx figure seated on the Road Toad while Big Lob and a Navy SEAL in camo fatigues stand by.
GI Joe picture of the day: A 1987 what-if.
Featuring Big Lob and Jinx (ReAction+ 2025), SEAL (Heavy Armor Toys 2025), and the Road Toad (1987).
