I don’t have that many followers yet on Blue Sky but this play may well appeal to many of the Ex-Xs given it’s about the power of protest….

And there was me thinking Blue Sky might have some sensible contributions on this issue… Sigh.
New comment piece for OnLondon by Robert Gordon Clark. Sadiq Khan is right to go the MIPIM property trade event in Cannes in search of economic growth in #London: www.onlondon.co.uk/robert-gordo... @nickbowes.bsky.social @pickardje.bsky.social @teamlabouruk.bsky.social @labourlist.bsky.social
Hi Isabel. It’s a tough one this. Whilst I share your concern, owning a property in a city in another country isn’t illegal and many Brits own places in Paris, Madrid etc. historically a lot of UK developments have only been kick started because of overseas investors buying off plan. No easy answer.
Good to see the Times now has a London section.

“The Missing Hundred” - could be the title of the next John Vane book.

As you know I am a frustrated dictator and if I ruled the world I would ban any form of #christmas marketing or music until 25 November. My “record” for early marketing was Kew Gardens Christmas brochure which a few years ago I received in the post in September.
Rock n Roll Politics is live on November 27th @KingsPlace ..the final show of the year…and what a year.. Trump..Starmer..Badenoch..rise of smaller parties.. Time to make sense of 2024 ( sort of):

Anyone else seen this advert on the underground? Thoughts?
I always get lost there - always
Kemi Badenoch spent the best part of two years on the London Assembly before entering Parliament. Her views while there about male sexual violence and "two-tier policing" might surprise you, as Charles Wright reports for OnLondon: www.onlondon.co.uk/charles-wrig....
I know that there are many more worrying things to think about but come on, it’s still October
Good news
