Must be tough to find sources.
Vennochi relied on the Josh Kraft superfan/developer that Kraft used as an example in his campaign’s housing plan.

Councilor Flynn has yet to disclose to constituents that BPD opposed his proposed ban on e-bikes and mopeds for use by 3rd party food delivery drivers.
He also has yet to disclose that colleagues on the Council passed measures that went into effect on 4/16/2026.

The Executive Director of Brighton Main Streets has responded to Councilor Flynn’s misrepresentations regarding management of federal COVID relief funds and Boston’s Main Streets grant program.

Uh… MassGOP… your convention’s keynote speaker should not be the subject of a long and devastating Southern Policy Law Center investigation. #mapoli www.splcenter.org/resources/ha...
Thank you Councilors @gigi4district1.bsky.social and @ruthzee.bsky.social, for representing the best of Boston to local neighborhoods and, with respect to FIFA 2026, to the entire world.
Boston is a city for everyone, and your tireless work on these summer activations is incredibly valuable.
The Fan Fest update press conference is underway.
Just a personal word of thanks for your work bringing the opportunities to neighborhoods and to local FIFA fans. Just outstanding, Councilor. ❤️
Not much of a sports fan but am looking forward to Boston reaping the economic benefits of the FIFA games and Bostonians having an absolute blast celebrating these international competitions.
NBC is now LIVE at the Fan Fest update press conference...

Nearly 20 years since kicking off BRA Crossroads Plan (2007), we finally completed design, moving into engineering and funding.
These Melcher St improvements are a component of the Congress Street Redesign Project “Final Design” that Councilor Flynn has been attempting to derail.
BEFORE/AFTER
Anyone remember lessons learned from Filene’s Hole re. guarantees? Did you know Menino quietly handed Millennium a block of Franklin St (100% unreported)?
Do Boston’s top devs walk the walk?
Haven’t heard one word about guarantees as a bargaining chip in exchange for incentives.
Let me know if you plan a visit, I’ll be there.
More nonsense.
Hit me up when reporters ask Boston’s top developers if they’ve submitted a proposal to City Hall in which they would line up financing and guarantee a groundbreaking within one year in exchange for a temporary mod of IZ requirements.
Publish the proposals. 🛌💤
Met a woman named May just last week who (if I recall correctly) is friends with Alec Barber’s mom. The pride she had for him and his plans for Mother’s East was over the top. The intent? A warm, welcoming pub. Nice to see Globe coverage. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/04/21/l...
VIDEO: Councilor Flynn trashing colleagues re. attendance at budget hearings. Flynn left early from the most important budget hearing last week (see below).
Every visit to MAMLEO Radio is an hour of Wu bashing.
What matters to me isn’t the negativity; it’s the misinformation.
Will Boston capitalize on economic opportunities during FIFA games?
My Clr @edflynnforboston.bsky.social brought ALL the negativity to a hearing on FIFA opportunities hosted by Councilor @ruthzee.bsky.social. “NO” to parades. “NO” to block parties.
Southie/Seaport biz owners won’t hear a word.
Boston, a major metro city in which the leading issue of a leading media source and multiple City Councilors regards how the Mayor misspent $7,500 when, in fact, the Mayor’s admin had awarded a grant to a 3rd party nonprofit; the nonprofit failed to hew to guidelines; and the funds were returned.
On a radio program Saturday, Councilor Flynn criticized colleagues regarding attendance at budget hearings. He claimed hearings were a “ghost town.”
Flynn had exited halfway thru perhaps the most important budget hearing, with City of Boston cabinet chiefs present. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqDv...
Per @massterlist.com morning email, Mayor Wu and Lt. Gov. Driscoll will provide an update on FIFA Fanfest at 11 AM. Livestream… www.boston.gov/departments/...
Peters remarks are always valuable so I take what I can
Terrific thread of Globe comments about transit modes including cycles were kicked off by Peter Gerlings ("pgerlings"), continuing through the day today.
Worth a read, it's the first Globe comment, and replies!
In recent days, the Editor of Mass Daily News has been implying (via repeated questions) that I've been a direct beneficiary of City Hall largesse. One such tweet is provided here. They deleted another.
The Editor (via @MDN_editor on X) states they are considering a story on me, a private citizen.
It amazes me how much traction false narratives are getting. But more so, how Flynn et al. are taking advantage of false narratives to spin something more pernicious.
My knowledge of what's going on runs deep... I've been following a number of social media threads and noted strategic alignments.
Globe EB's take re. assessments of luxury properties. As expected, "Wu's not doing enough." www.bostonglobe.com/2026/02/08/o...
Last week, Sen. Collins fueled outrage on the @dotnews.bsky.social pod, claiming the Council is "investigating." It's not. A hearing is scheduled.
Watch the video 👇🏼
Mass Daily News, Herald et al. spread a falsehood, claiming Mayor Wu supported $200-$500 payments for migrants to take yoga and get massages.
Reality: A 3rd party nonprofit received a $7,500 grant and failed to comply with grant requirements. Since corrected.
Councilor Flynn on Saturday. 👇🏼
I'll add that the reason Southie's blue collar workforce no longer exists in Southie is due to opposition to housing. That includes opposition to the 12k-15k housing units that experts recommended in Seaport in order to reduce pressure on existing Southie residents. Electeds feared new residents.
However one feels about the race, I think that's an oddly reductive take.
I think that it’s widely understood that a motorbike that’s not Class 1-3 ebike is not to be lumped in with those.
BNN VIDEO: BPI politicized its “Boston’s Mansion Markdown” report (“we try to use catchy names”) while concluding that the City was not at fault.
Maynard: “The City is doing everything it can.”
Councilor Flynn and others have been sowing anti-Wu discord in communities on this issue.
Globe Editorial: E-bikes and mopeds and scooters, oh my

(2/2) Councilor Flynn has avoided ruffling feathers by claiming to only support layoffs of middle management at BPS.
Yesterday, on a clubby radio program, he suggested that the $50 million budget gap at BPS could be closed by laying off administrators "in the Bolling Building."
No pushback.
(1/2) Councilor Flynn regularly trashes colleagues for a lack of fiscal discipline.
At last week's BPS budget hearing, he called for the hiring of additional assistant coaches. VIDEO (cued): youtu.be/m5cTXiOF_G0?...
Later in the hearing, Flynn opposed significant cuts.
