Page 13: he stands over the balcony at night, staring over the sparkling black ocean.

Page 14: cut to the next day. The ocean shines in the bright sun. A voice from off panel, “sir?” They’re at an outdoor beachside restaurant “Oh sorry. I’ll just have the sweet potato fries.” The waiter replies, “Very good.”

Page 15: his partner asks, “you sure you’re okay?” He says, “yeah, I’m—“ but trails off as something catches his eye way out in the water.

Page 16: he stares out over the vivid blue overlapping waves to a shimmering object on the water. It’s a full grown sea turtle, breaching slightly at the surface. Til next time.

Page 9: the turtle bites on the pelican’s tongue, and goes flying out of his mouth. The pelican says, “it freakin bit me!”

Page 10: turtle dives into the water and floats in awe of a beautiful coral reef.

Page 11: from behind, a tarpon lunges, moments from devouring the turtle. Suddenly, a young man wakes up in his bed, all a dream. Gasp!

Page 12: the man wakes up in a shock, “the beach! The beach!” His partner wakes up in bed next to him. “Huh? You okay?” He rubs his eyes and leaves bed. It’s the middle of the night.

Page 5: an osprey swoops from above towards baby green turtle. He narrowly dodges and a chase commences.

Page 6: the baby turtle speeds intensely and desperately towards the water, as the osprey pursues. From above, another giant bird lands, creating a massive explosion of sand. FOOM!

Page 7: baby sea turtle stands in the shadow of a giant pelican. The pelican scoops him up.

Page 8: the pelican starts to fly away as the turtle is engulfed in its pouch.

Page one: text on black background, “WAKE UP!”. Eyes open, a baby sea turtle with an eggshell helmet says, “you need to wake up!”

Page 2: helmet turtle says to a green baby sea turtle, who is waking up out off his egg, “we need to get moving.” CRASH! A cormorant breaks through the ceiling of their nest hole. Helmet turtle says MOVE!

Page 3: “when you’re out there, beeline to the water. Don’t stop. Don’t be a hero. Godspeed.” The helmet turtle kicks baby green turtle out the hole off a cliff onto the beach below.

Page 4: baby green turtle lands on the sand. The distance between him and the water is quite large. Another baby sea turtle is being devoured by a seagull and is screaming for help.
