Arizona Department of Education threatens Tempe school district over DEI policy Superintendent Tom Horne, acting on guidance from the Trump administration, said he would withhold funds from a district over a staff wellness policy.

1/ Tom Horne is threatening to defund Kyrene’s Title I schools to score cheap political points—withholding money that Congress appropriated on a bipartisan basis.

It’s a boneheaded move that’ll only hurt Arizona students.
