Columnists for the Sunday Times are the biggest bunch of wankers in journalism. Partly because you know none of them really believe in the bile they churn out ( apart from Syed who is just a confused lunatic)

I am all for @bbc6.bsky.social updating themselves by playing dance music. But why is it all that soppy Hot Chip type shite. Where is the real cutting edge stuff?

@webuyrecords.bsky.social Any Podcasts about? Really missing a Summer Seaside Special to take away with me.

Downloading music does feel very 2000s I have to say- saving the file , moving it to different folders etc. it’s one of the best things about Bandcamp as most record labels seemed to have dropped download codes in physical releases these days.

I mean it’s not a dealbreaker if it costs you money to do it but is very much appreciated.

Yes I use them. I use Roon so this is a perfect way to integrate hi res files and feels more “permanent” than streaming.

They don’t give a toss about music really. Pushing podcasts, , AI and “content creation” above high quality streams which they STILL haven’t implemented.

Always a red flag if someone wanting to buy a club is already mentioning logos and kits as a priority

Same. Wouldn’t recognise one of their hits. I’m sure the Glasto crowd will though …

I know it sounds like old indie bloke moaning but fucking hell that’s lame. They will no doubt have a new record out to plug.

Great pod as always. Have also been attempted scammed by “assistant Kate” same MO, also my only item up for sale ( a Trunk Basil Kirchin LP that hasn’t had a sniff in 3 years) To their credit , Discogs dealt with it very quickly.

Had to smile when Huw thought the 3 Day Week “sounds great” until Nicky had to educate him to what it actually was😩

First cocktail of Christmas. Cosmopolitan. Grown up but quite citrus/summery with the lime juice and triple sec. Good start though

Look what just turned up! Just wow. Massive format and tons of detail . In the style of Galactic Ramble. A definitive pictorial record of some VERY rare albums . Brilliant work by Richard Morton Jack
