I’m at Zebulon again tonight. Door guy has gone back to the silent treatment. My gains were short term.

It took over a year of regular visits but the security guy at Zebulon actually spoke to me. Usually he just checks my ID and motions to the door. Tonight he said, “go on.” I feel like a researcher who was accepted by the local tribe.

For clarity I have hiked much longer distances and maybe run a bit of that from time to time but this was a dedicated run.

Just ran 4.31 miles. I think this is the longest run I've done this century (last time I remember running this distance was in the late 90's).
