I wish people would quit acting like the trafficking is even the worst part. It’s not, which is the worst part. The worst part is that the sex crimes are not the worst part, but the international conspiracies to undermine democracy are the worst part. 🤯

I’ve lived a whole life since then! The next summer after Shangri-La was my first GOTJ. 💎 🪓
That’s a lot!! 😳
Is her part Thalia? 🫶🏻
It’s acorn nuts for me.
We went to DC & NYC, too, in 1993 from Birmingham, AL. It’s a key memory, which is why I took my kids in 2023 to DC- I was so afraid it would turn out like it has. 😢
I’m going to see Bad Omens in Nashville with my family on March 17!! I am so EMOTIONAL about this. 😭 🎉 🎶 #badomens #doyoufeellove
We bought a secondhand electric guitar/amp for our youngest son yesterday and buying Beartooth/Bad Omens concert tickets for our oldest son today. There, Christmas is done: the rest of 2025 is boycott season. 🎁
I’m resting my brain for the rest of today and then I’ll probably start some classic Stephen King. Either the Shining or Salem’s Lot? I have some NK Jemison books, Stephen Graham Jones, and Stormlight Archive also on my physical TBR.
Mistborn/the Cosmere is also great! 😊

OK, chat: now that’s done. What am I supposed to do with myself now?! I’m not prepared for life after. #throneofglass #kingdomofash #booksky ❤️🔥🥺
I truly don’t think that some people even realize how blue parts of Alabama really are. 🩵 #nokings #birminghamalabama
Had to protest vicariously today, since I was running a fever of 100.9 last night. 🤒 😩 Third time in 6 weeks. 🤧 #nokings
I’ve been there! They are just a tool and it’s going to be OK. 🩵
It was my first, too! I’ve read some more since then. I can’t believe I made it all the way through the 90s never reading any King!
Small tot REALLY has it out (quite viciously) for this rabbit- actually, a dog toy that my pointer-mix girl dog treats gently, like a baby. 🐇
Of these, I’ve read Fairy Tale and thought it was fantastic!
I have to do this soon! I sort by genre and paperback vs. hardback generally, then by vibes. 🙃
💔 RIP, Jane. 😢
Just did the math: I’m at 72% through the EoS/ToD tandem read. This time next week, I will be starting the final book in the Throne of Glass series. After that, I don’t know what I will do with myself! The plan was to start the Stormlight Archive, but I may need an easy snack or two first. #booksky
I started this account to skeet about books I’m reading and sometimes music I’m listening to and a little bit of lifestyle documentary on the side, but I’ve been absolutely shit at keeping up with any of it in recent months. Not saying I’ll be better in the months ahead: just an observation. 🧐 🤷🏻♀️
My vote is for 2 😎
Sure, it’s completely normal thinking more about what to add to the tattoo I just got, rather than something completely new: eventually turning it into a bigger piece. My goal was only to get something small before deciding to do a bigger tattoo on my arm, now all I can think about is my leg!
My birthday. 🎂 🥰
This book was wonderful! 👏🏻
There is nothing that is administration fears more than an army of well-read women. 📚 ⚔️
One more… today, he’s helping me keep my leg elevated. He took a while to warm up, but a total snuggle bug now. 💕
Once he let me pick him up, I brought him inside the house for a few minutes at a time to explore, but took him back outside. I didn’t keep him inside overnight right away. We also had to navigate training our dogs not to treat him like prey. That was a challenge, but we are all friends now!
When he started approaching for treats, I stayed as still as I possibly could while he took them to prove to him that I was safe. I waited for a couple of days while he got comfortable with being close to me before I try to touch him, and then waited another day or so before trying to pick him up.
I was so afraid of predators as well! We have a lot of coyotes around. We went out several times a day with cat treats and wet food. I left food and water for him. I started by sitting and watching him about 15 or 20 feet away and then gradually moved closer. 🧵
