Every article be like “you don’t need to pre-wash your dishes. just clean your dishwasher 3 times a day, only run a load with one plate at a time, and never eat food”
I’ve been sitting on some dumb ideas for a while and now y’all about to benefit.
First up: “Cheese, Cheese, Cheese” by Weird Al (to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please, Please, Please”) in which he describes a sincere romantic attraction to numerous types of cheese.
Inside the living room of a house, there’s a fireplace with stockings lettered ‘A’ ‘E’ ‘T’ ‘R’ and ‘P’ in the background, along with a 6-foot tall Christmas tree with some warm white lights and a number of Christmas cards on the wall. In the foreground is a table with a plate labeled “cookies for Santa” that has one half-eaten cookie left on it and some crumbs. Next to it is a glass with a little bit of milk left in it. It’s early morning and feels cozy and quiet.
Inside the living room of a house, there’s a 6-foot tall Christmas tree with some warm white lights in front of a window showing early morning light on the snow. There are some presents under the tree, and a few snowy boot prints on the floor.

Thanks for reading to the end - feel free to leave your anger in the comments.
• DJ x Peraza: Definitely won’t happen, but it’d be lovely for all. Peraza could reasonably spell 3B, SS, and 2B, offer speed off the bench, and audition for a future role or increase his trade value.
• Rice as b/u C: I’ve only heard people talk about him as a 1B platoon, but why not double that as a Wells backup?
• Verdug-union: HEAR ME OUT - a 1yr. deal for a bench role. Verdugo is a VIBES guy, can play all 3 OF roles, and could be used as a bat in a pinch. A for-sure upgrade over Grisham.
•Re-sign Kahnle and Hill: Hill seems like an obvious done deal. Kahnle might be more of a stretch, but he’s an A+ bullpen option who’s effective against lefties.
• Sign Sasaki: no way this happens, but if it does, flip Clarke into a 6th man/LR role.
So, some explaining:
• Stroman x Arenado: they’ve already approach STL about this. Yes, they were rebuffed, but Arenado since declined a trade to HOU, and had recently added NYY to his “okay” list after the Goldy trade.
