On a side note concerning undocumented NT calls : I found this site ntdoc.m417z.com more accurate and up to date for the documentation of internal API.
It is updated regularly with the headers and comments of the phnt project (github.com/winsiderss/p...)

wasn't slang created for that specific reason, to be language agnostic ?
IIRC slang can also convert its shader code to GLSL/HLSL/MSL
