We conducted a two-month field deployment of a text messaging tool to identify these disruptors and followed it with several design workshops that led to actionable design recommendations, including facilitating goal setting, reframing disengagement, and providing targeted socioeconomic support.
Check out our newly accepted CSCW paper, where we explore the broader social factors beyond digital tool characteristics that impact (and often disrupt) the use of digital mental health tools.

I'm a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where I design interactive, AI-driven interventions that can adapt to the individual and social contexts of users. I've published at top HCI conferences and received Best Paper and Honorable Mention awards at CHI.
