BABs has a benign heart murmur! Meaning he... apparently gets excited and anxious when he goes to the vet. (Super. Don't we all?)
Now please repay us for $600 of echo tests in exterior mice and rat control, and we'll call it good, buddy. Love ya.

@nikostratis.com I don't really know how this BlueSky thing works yet, but hopefully this finds you - so excited to get this pre-order in the mail today!
Raised beds are built. Left room for more container veggies, flowers, a key compost pilot and a greenhouse with this design... And look at that coop/run coming along behind the shed!
One is the loneliest number... (Neighborhood walk #27.)
Today's vibe brought to you by Sir Simon.
Found out today that BABs, who found us 18 months or so ago when he was about a year old, has a heart murmur. Common in Siamese cats, but usually when they are older. We are taking reasonable and appropriate next steps for this goofball (who will likely outlive us all).
Progress...

Today's vibe, as seen on neighborhood walk #16.
Ran into Grumpy Newt on neighborhood walk #14 today.

Yesterday's neighborhood walk #11. Every time I do this, I wonder when the road is going to slide off into the slough. ("When the road is going to slouff?")
BABs brought a friend home for lunch today.
Neighborhood walk #10... that's 30 miles.
Neighborhood walk #9.
Neighborhood walk #8... why, look at that moon!

Neighborhood walk #7.
Look at that smile...
Neighborhood walk #6. I really like this-grass lined fence... and the fact that this field is about to become a temporary lake.
Neighborhood walk #5.

And I don't recall the madam in the question, but let the record show, that is good advice for anyone, anytime.
One of our favorite breakfasts from traveling, that we still prepare regularly... Glad to see Cooks Illustrated gets it.
Blue sky, blue slough.
All in.
This, on repeat.
Gold.
Another quiet hour-long walk up the road today. This could become a habit.
