I’m an old enough trans person to remember that fight. HRC told trans people to essentially wait our turn because they felt they had a better chance of passing a sexual orientation only ENDA. The bill didn’t pass and HRC is still struggling to win back a lot of us elder queers today.

If Stonewall would like a preview of what happens to major national LGBT orgs that begin to hedge a bit on their support for trans people, I would like to point them to what happened to HRC in 2007 in the US when they supported a trans exclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act.

If you hate someone for something that hurts absolutely no one, maybe go sit down and reevaluate your life for a while.

Sites go down all the time, but BlueSky have kinda dug their own grave by being smug about GenAI because now everyone just assumes the site’s a vibecoded mess whenever it breaks
