Moira’s internalised misogyny has lead her to argue that the category of “woman” is only valid, not a trap, if men are included

Excellent thread by @womensportfeminism.bsky.social, absolutely demolishing Moira Donegan's ludicrous claim that 'The Olympics’ trans policy polices womanhood'.

JK Rowling humiliates Alastair Campbell and dares him to debate women The Harry Potter author said she did not want to appear on the 'classist' former Labour spin doctor's podcast

I'm unsurprised Alastair Campbell's daughter Grace is a twit, tbh. It's sad to see any young women internalise misogyny the way she has. Her anger at older women is ugly, desperate. But, then, daddy is the war criminal friend of Peter Mandelson.

I’m keen to listen to this. I wonder if they discuss Sarwar’s position on the Gender Recognition Reform bill and the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of sex.

Or if Alastair will avoid it like the plague as he has brilliant leading women @forwomen.scot Trina Budge, Susan Smith, Marion Calder

Grace Campbell (Alistair Campbell's daughter) on her podcast.

"Freaks.... Ugly ugly ugly!" (talking about FWS and others celebrating SC victory).

That's a lot of internalised misogyny. Utterly toxic.

Gender ideologues run rings round Bridget Phillipson Equalities minister has still to present statutory guidance on single-sex spaces. Maybe she hopes for a reshuffle rescue

The “assigned at birth” bit is redundant. The Supreme Court ruled that sex means sex, not “gender identity”.

The vast majority of women and girls welcome it.

The improvements come when service providers actually enact the law and women aren’t fired or sued for expecting our rights to be upheld.

Yet you think if these men identify as women they should be allowed in female only spaces and services including refuges, hospital wards, prisons, and toilets and changing rooms.

In doing so, you’re the one making excuses for rapists and blaming women.

Like all misogynists you are framing being male as the standard for being human and the differences of female people (inc the extra abilities to make and feed new humans) as making us less human and thus less deserving of rights. You cannot conceive of a need for women’s sport unless men are allowed

Ok listened online, and he spends the first 20mins showing he’s a dangerous, boundary violating man. And failing to justify his behaviour.

The reason the GOP have been so successful on beating the Dems with this issue is the changes made to Title IX by the Biden admin that removed women’s rights.

No, I’m not a member so just the clip above. But it’s well documented that McBride has violated women’s boundaries for years, including as a congressman on Capitol Hill.

Hearing him speak of kindness and inclusion is like hearing Trump say he deserves the Nobel peace prize.

Tradwife movement ‘attracts men who are hostile to women’ The strongest predictor of support for women staying at home and deferring to their husband is not, as researchers expected, chivalry but ‘hostile sexism’

"Among young American men, the strongest predictor of support for the tradwife lifestyle was not gallantry but hostility towards women"

Apparently this is not what researchers "expected". Which makes one wonder: had these researchers thought about it for 30 seconds?

This man is not being kind or just or aiding inclusion by calling himself a woman or by violating women’s safety, privacy, dignity and fairness by entering women only spaces or by advocating for harmful medical interventions for vulnerable children distressed by their sex.

Do you believe Little Red Riding Hood should be banned as offensive to all men?

The analogy is useful and relevant. Societies are telling girls they must accept the wolf as grandma, that pointing out his big ears and teeth is bigoted. That a few eaten girls and grannies is worth it for inclusion.

Time for a repost.
At last the IOC has restored fair competition categories for female athletes.
Too late for the female athletes who had to sacrifice their careers at the pinnacle of their sport because three biological males stood on the women's Olympic 800m podium in 2016 in Rio.

On the contrary. Accepting all women and girls as people of the female sex encompasses half of humanity in all our diversity.

The sexist, patriarchal gender ideology gifts “woman” to men and redefines women as bleeders, breeders, feeders, cervix havers or non-men, removes our rights and dignity.

Why does @sianberry.bsky.social find ensuring the female category is female only so upsetting?

It’s still trans inclusive because female trans athletes can compete as long as they’re not on T.

Perhaps Sian just thinks that male people deserve whatever they want but women and girls do not.

Right Here. Right Now. Another stunning technical victory for the Good Law Project shows that sanity is being restored to the public debate about gender identity, slowly but ever so surely.

The key word here is history.

The SRY test is a cheap, reliable, one-off from a cheek swab or blood spot so not invasive. Usually done before an athlete is in the public eye, only those few with a +ve result may want further tests and some DSDs like CAIS are still permitted in the female category.

They’re not excluded but will need to compete in the correct category for their sex.

No, it’s MALES who are banned. Their gender identity is irrelevant.
