Term limits would give lobbyists even more power because most politicians would have no idea how things get done in Congress.

Ban insider trading. They should rely on what WE pay them. This just makes it impossible for non millionaires to be in Congress.
That’s literally what they have. They are too busy insider trading to worry about medical coverage.
We have term limits in Ohio.
The legislature is completely unresponsive to voters. They are beholden to lobbyists who write the laws. Then either campaign for the other chamber or get a job at the companies they were already working for.
We need campaign finance and gerrymandering reform.
Picture of a young adult next to an Easter lamb cake and picture of the same person from the previous year along with recursive pictures from years past.
A much cooler version we’ve been keeping up for years….
Recursion is fun! Wasting law enforcement resources is not.
Those at the top benefit financially. Not in anything that actually matters.
You keep claiming that ALL humans are either male or female in spite of the complex nature of biological sex. I’m done going in circles of misinformation.
Meanwhile, it’s you who are weaponizing this notion against trans people in order to eliminate their legal, medical and societal status.
You keep trying to simplify a complex concept. Even biologically, humans are on a spectrum. To be sure, most people divide neatly into male and female, but some do not. Medical interventions can shift a person’s biology. This can effect but not necessarily change their innate sense of self.
Science is useful when it exists. Here’s a parent friendly article…www.stlouischildrens.org/conditions-treatments/di... Is this weaponization? Against who?
Odd to ignore the lived experience of people who understand their condition the most and become activists. Conditions in which sex is ambiguous exist. Parents should be able to wait…and those children should have legal rights including id outside of the binary.
But would they stand up to a long bath? Seems like an unnecessary expense, but relatively easy to disable them.
I’m not labeling them. THEY should be able to decide. And from what I understand, SOME (not all) prefer not to choose. Some prefer not to be forced into one or the other surgically or otherwise before they are able to state their identity. What’s your proposal to support them in their preference?
Do they? Do they ALL want to be grouped together in the same category? For what purpose? Medically? Legally? When being talked to by family and friends?
Since you asked…to me, it makes no sense to put everyone who doesn’t have all the usual anatomy/hormones into the same category. It depends on context, even medically. Some may need a gynecologist, others don’t.
I am not certain that DSD is universally accepted…especially if the first D stands for disorder. interactadvocates.org/we-are-more-...
We should respect the wishes of people within a group as to how there group should be named, wouldn’t you agree? As much as there is a consensus within the group.
Here in Ohio I choose to shop places with shaded parking in the summer. Even in the winter it would mean less snow to brush off the car.
Intersex people exist. Seems like if sex matters to you then you would already know that.
I think earlier you insisted that you would not be discussing DSDs? I never agreed to that, though.
I am arguing for women of all kinds being able to use facilities where they are safest.
Here’s another example of how policing bathroom use based on sex hurts women…www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/minneso...
Seriously? You are saying that reaction to a life saving surgery should mean others should avoid the surgery?
A true feminist would insist that ALL women should be respected regardless of anatomy.
Here’s an example of how bathroom bans affect women post breast cancer…www.self.com/story/this-breast-cancer...
Ah, a SEX binary is dandy? Only if you ignore biological complexity. Which may seem comforting, but actually makes ALL women less safe.
I can present examples, if you’re interested.
But there’s no binary? So what subset of women deserve rights based on sex? Who gets excluded?
Sex matters? What’s that mean?
Are you with dividing people into a gender binary?
As an older cis woman who understands intersexionality…as well as the insidious right wing plot to disguise transphobia as feminism…I too would appreciate knowing if this is actually about older women or specifically targeted at older women who want to exclude trans women?
It seems interesting. But I'm wary about book reccomendations by TERFS. Can anybody vouch for whether this book contains any discriminatory remarks against trans women?

Never could have happened without the mighty Earl Scruggs.
I thought for a moment that the current president referenced Star Trek Academy. Sheer confusion on my part. Didn’t change my opinion on either one…especially since I am way behind on the new shows because we watch them as a FAMILY!
