For what it was worth, voice aside, there was no presence.
"Where...? Oh I wish I knew! Then perhaps someone could come help me. Wherever I am is cold, and dark, and lonely."
She was silent a moment, the sort of silence that suggested thought, not waiting on another's words.
"I suppose I am in need of assistance? Though I have no idea how one could."
"I feel like I've had *many* names... Perhaps that's why I can't think of any one specifically?"
Despite how odd this situation might be, the voice seemed mostly unphased.
"I would like that very much! But, if it takes longer, that is alright, too. I think that now that the connection has been made, if you call out to me, I will hear you. Oh... But that does leave a question of what you would call out...? I can hardly remember my name."

The voice was also full of *earnestness*, with a light, youthful tone. Most likely female. A girl? Certainly not a child, though.
For a moment, there's no reply, but then, suddenly, as clear as if the voice were right in front of him: "Oh! Hello! You heard me! Thank goodness!"
The voice was full of relief, and seemed good natured enough.

Even with such a small snippet, the voice sounded slightly desperate... No doubt even lonely.
Perhaps it would get louder if given time, and a careful ear... Or perhaps calling out to it would help? Who could really tell. All the same, it felt so far away, despite lack of direction...
It seems for a moment as though it really is the nature around him and his age catching up to him, but for a moment there is a much clearer "-llo?"
It comes not from any specific direction, but it was clearly a voice, one that near any in Joris' shoes would have caught the edge of.
