Really think this should have received more attention, Seyfried certainly should have had more noms It's quite undefinable and strange, painterly and at times spellbinding, a committed attempt to walk in a life of devotion unknowable and long past.

What a great night @LaingArtGallery seeing my Pam once again, reconnecting with fellow exhibitors and seeing all our paintings from @NPGLondon show in this grand museum.

My portrait of the beautiful legend Dr Pam Hogg, which was on show @NPGLondon in 2025 is now touring with the show to the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle.
 
The painting will be on display @LaingArtGallery from this Saturday the 28th March until the 5th September 2026.

I want everyone to know of her extraordinary courage & resolve on the opening night @NPGLondon Although her illness was quite advanced even then she was determined to see the portrait on the walls there. She was frail but so strong, her presence luminous, radiant and powerful.

What a bittersweet summer this has been, celebrating her with friends at the National Portrait Gallery while knowing she was so unwell and keeping it secret.

R.I.P Dearest Pam Hogg

Treasure, Warrior, rare and beautiful Pearl - there was never another like her, she will be missed and the legacy of her glorious, singular work remembered forever.
It was a privilege to be her friend, and a great honour to paint her portrait.
