I built a good following on twitter. Then it became X and I started losing followers. Starting over here, but less cluttered with political bs, and bots are deleted pretty fast here. I’m using this as for networking for my writing, but I also add people I know who are leaving other platforms.

I immediately think about a haunted library. Of course, you have to whisper. And you can't leave, because of some mysterious force. Without being able to speak loudly, you are trying to find the book that contains the spell that can break you out. Unfortunately, some roadblocks stand in your way.

I put did a random word generator. It spit out "Whisper" "Library" "Escape". What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see these three words? Be creative. #WritersBlock #WritingPrompts #WritingCommunity

What's your process of writing and editing from first draft to finish?

For example, for me its first draft, revise (both going through CPs), another pass, send to editor, make editing adjustments/changes, then one final pass.

When I can afford to I will get it to an editor.

I brainstorm an outline and break it into scenes or chapters. Then I write the scenes.Then I re-sort the scenes to make it more powerful. After, I do that I focus on reading it out loud and rewrite the dialogue.Then I cut out unneeded clutter, things that hurt the pacing.Then it is edit, read, edit.

To get to hear stories from other writers, their struggles, and how they overcome them, as it relates to their writing.
