Long article is worth a read. This guy and all of his buddies are basically cartoon supervillains.

This song is so incredible. I find more in it every time I listen. The acoustic bass part is so cool.

This guy recorded thousands of live shows in Chicago over the years and has put them online for free. Found quite a few that I was at. Quality is mixed but listenable in most cases that I checked.

Pat Metheny (or his setup at least - no pictures rule). This was amazing.

Gary Burton Quintet & Eberhard Weber - Ring Listen to Ring on TIDAL

Hooked on this album lately. Weird how things end up in my "listen every day while working" rotation.

There were quite a few other ridiculous changes. We told them to revert and try again and they did.

I once had a journal copy editor change all instances of \setminus to "/". This was a paper that had both lots of knot complements and quotients of manifolds/orbifolds.

Don't worry. 4yos are usually either faking or overreacting when they complain about back pain.

You have more in common with the people of Iran than you do with anyone in this administration, any member of the technocracy, anyone who is profiting from this war, or any billionaire. When you see Iranians forming human chains outside key infrastructure sites, you should feel a sense of kinship.

Texted my wife "OMG I saw the frog man again and he's the swag frog man now" and despite definitely not knowing what I'm talking about she simply responded with the laughing emoji. This is my love language.

Our president and whoever he's working with are delusional and have nothing to do with the interests of the American people. They're completely out of touch with American ideals.

The Iranian president's view on the war is much closer to my perspective on things.

Had to explain (again) to my fifth grader that he can't trust cars after almost being run over by a guy going ~40 down my residential street (not plowed/salted) while looking at his phone. Absolute psycho behavior given then number of kids who were walking to school.
