I went to Springsteen's New Orleans Jazz Fest performance 6 months after Katrina. The city was still hurting in so many ways; and for a few hours, he made it all bearable. He brought us further together, and gave us all the boost we needed to get through it to the end. Very similar!

North Carrollton between Orleans and Dumaine - both corners have openly flowing leaks. I got one leak fixed (somehow?!) in the middle of the block, but I fear that was only a small bandaid on a much larger problem. Both leaks have been reported, months ago. Add this to the pool!!

I have several guesses as to which firm that was!! Nothing more need be said! I began at one of those firms and then hung my own shingle with another partner - from 2 lawyers to 8 in 5 yrs. Great experience, great clients. Katrina blew things up, but my kids reaped the reward - they're worth it!!

Very funny! We moved here after being raised in the mid-west, then going to University of Rhode Island, then here for Tulane Law School - aiming for maritime law careers (achieved!). You will love New England. - it is great. You have to work on locals to loosen up, but it can be done!!
