BUG NOTE:
There's a bug in the PS5/4 versions where the game hangs on a black transition scene when using the elevator. A patch is on the way momemtarily, but you can get the game to progress if you hit the "Pause" button when it stalls out.

I've always said horror and comedy are two sides of the same coin. It's all about the set up. You can't deliver a punchline without the set up, and you can't scare someone unless you build trust before you break it.
I've been playing Silent Hill f and while it's absolutely beautiful, the standard "game logic" doesn't work when it's that realistic looking. There are little sawhorse barriers that block your path, and I can't help but think, "Girl, just crawl under that shit." lol
Are Unreal 5 games crossing into uncanny valley territory for anyone else yet, or is it just me?

I paid $90 for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on SNES in 1993. I paid $120 for WWF Attitude on N64 in 1999.
Yes. N64 games were often $120 at launch.
And I got Control (2019 GOTY and one of the best games ever, IMO) for $0 from Epic Games like a year ago.

Honestly, gaming has never been cheaper, in my experience. You can get new indie or older AAA bangers for a few bucks or sometimes free.
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, that seems to be the move most devs make - having an experienced porting studio guide the process. I said to myself, “How hard can it be?”. The answer is VERY FKN HARD. 😂
Are you porting by yourself too? I’m almost done with Xbox and PS for my game (which also starts with “Ghost”, btw), and it has been such a steep learning curve. How has the process been for you? Any advice for a noob solo dev/publisher/porter?
Arguably, an hour, tops. It’s the same principle as hair or boob physics. Pretty plug and play at this point.
I think you’re only focusing on supply side. Price is largely dictated by “what can we get away with?”. If people feel the entertainment value of GTA6 is worth $100 to them, then Rockstar can get away with charging $100. Same reason why T Swift can charge thousands for a seat and other acts can’t.
I’m SOOO close to finishing up Xbox and PlayStation versions of GHOST at DAWN. I’ll be announcing the release date very soon, and then I will be VERY ANNOYING posting about it.
