there's no real solution to that as i am extremely picky about what kind of art appeals to me but also i think that's just emblematic of how people's relationship with art works. enthusiasm backfiring every now and then, it's normal

i think going forward i will be a little more conscious about how recommendations are offered because often times it feels a lot more like "i like this please read it" rather than "i think you'll like it" but that's just how things go sadly

this officially marks the end of my small superhero comics exploration (for now) since it was the last physical one i had left to read. it was pretty fun despite not really finding a whole lot that i really loved

it's easy to analyze, those feelings are clearly tied to "the moment" rather than the "experience" so to speak, but it's just kinda funny to think back on a game that i genuinely don't really have fond memories of, something played almost entirely passively and go "y'know what, it wasn't that bad"

sometimes i miss a thing i've experienced but have no real good memories attached to it. like what do you mean i have nostalgia for that period of time i re-played through borderlands 1 and 2 with xan last year
